I started my adventure with mixing electronic music a few years before I played for the first time in front of an audience. It started with playing Traktor with a Vestax controller. I learned how to play by myself, watching performances of famous DJs on Youtube and the first successful, recorded set encouraged my desire to go in this direction. Playing to four walls and for a small group of friends became my hobby, but somewhere I secretly hoped that someday I would play for a larger group of listeners. I invested in better and better equipment, I especially loved the Xone mixers, but at the same time I was learning to play on other mixers to get to the club standard.
I was offered my first performance in front of an audience at the end of 2021 during a conversation with a friend from the Kombinat collective. It was supposed to be a Halloween performance at a party where Weikum himself was supposed to play, and although it was a pressure, I agreed right away. After this performance I got a lot of praise for the selection of songs and the energy I created on the dance floor, it gave me a huge kick to play more and more. That's how a year and a half passed during which I had the opportunity to play in many top clubs in Warsaw.
I usually create my sets spontaneously, but I always focus on building a set that has an atmospheric beginning, engaging, energetic development and ending with a hint of nostalgia.
