People think DJing is all parties, late nights, girls, etc, but it's mostly wading through lots of music to find the real gems!

When I was a kid (way back in the 80s) I used to record all my favorite songs off the radio and then use a dual-cassette deck to make mix tapes. I started doing small events as a DJ back in 2002.

I currently have a one hour mixshow on Mondays at 5PM on c89.5 FM in Seattle (http://c895worldwide.com/web/). Generally speaking I just mix a selection of my favorite current tracks off of the stations' Top 30 with some new releases and the occasional throwback hit. I tend to favor electrohouse versions of the songs and I try to play some of the good remixes of the songs that people might not have heard before.

I currently DJ every Tuesday night on the main floor of Neighbours Nightclub, and every 1st and 3rd Thursday at The Baltic Room. In addition I DJ around town at various dance clubs, such as Neighbours, The Baltic Room, The Social, and Club Vogue, in a guest DJ capacity.
