Gatecrasher is an international clubbing brand made famous by the "Gatecrasher" (later "Crasher") dance music events, which were held at the Republic nightclub in Sheffield, UK during the late 1990s and early 2000s. The promoters of the brand were Linus Schaxmann, Simon Raine and Simon Oates and, until 2004, Scott Bond. By August 2014, the only Gatecrasher venue remaining was located in the United Kingdom city of Birmingham. This venue was closed down permanently by the authorities on 25 November 2015.

Wow, last Saturday was certainly one for the books! 📖🔥 Over the last few days, I have been digesting just how amazing an event it was – phenomenal turnout 🙌, exceptional production 🎛️ and great music from everyone who played 🎧💥.

Now we all know that I do love my music from soundtracks and scores 🎼🎥 and they could be from anywhere – be it a film 🎬, tv 📺, documentary 🎞️, musical 🎭, animation 🧙‍♂️, videogames 🎮 – you name it, if it has that spark for captivating a dancefloor in the name of Trance 💃🕺, I will always be invested 💯.

Imagine having in excess of 200 tracks for this unique set 🎵🧠, the majority of which I would class as being A-grade 💎 and having to whittle it down to 17 on the day! A fresh challenge which I love to embrace 💪🎚️. To tell you the truth, I really did not know what to expect 🤷‍♂️ because delivering a specialist set of this magnitude LIVE ⚡, had not been done before and there is always the risk in the back of your mind that it might not be well-received 🤞.

Needless to say, it all came together 💫 and felt like stepping into the soundtrack of a film that hadn’t been made yet 🎞️✨ – from the powerful opening of Interstellar 🚀, the haunting elegance of Dune 🏜️, the creeping tension of The Exorcist 👻, the epic drive of The Da Vinci Code 🧬, to nostalgic hits like Stranger Things 🌌, Star Wars lightsaber vibes ⚔️, and finally those iconic end credits from Blade Runner 🤖... the emotional ride was very real!!! 😭💓

I am beyond proud of the result – and even more grateful 🙏 to our incredible REBOOTED following who danced 💃, celebrated 🎉 and embraced every beat of the journey. You brought it to life!! 🌟🔥

This incredible all-day festival brought together some of the biggest names in the scene and it was an absolute treat to step behind the decks and inject some Trance magic on the Insomniacz REBOOTED stage.

This one was special and was more than just a set – it was a moment. The vibe was pure euphoria, and the Insomniacz and REBOOTED brands, once again raised the bar. My set was crafted with care – a potent blend of original Trance classics, fresh reworks and a few long-lost forgotten gems pulled from the archives to keep the energy riding high and the crowd completely locked in.

The atmosphere? Exuberant. The production? Top shelf. The crowd? Unstoppable. Seeing so many familiar faces and new fans alike coming together to lose themselves in the music reminded me of why we do what we do – to create lasting memories through the power of Trance.

"In the holy land of Goa trance.Israel was the secret land of underground music at that time, many  beach parties, forest and desert gatherings were happening every weekend.After attending one of the raves and experiencing the magic world of the sounds Mr.Wolf began his journey as DJ/Producer.His first contract for the release of an album entitled """"Cosmic Church"""" was signed in 2001 with a company called Mowgli Rec ISR and also for the release of two singles with a company called Phonokol rec ISR.The album and singles were not released due to the move of Evgeni to Canada but material was used by DJ's Antix (Sweden), Moran Snizer (ISR), and more... 2002 Evgeni moved to Canada and it didn’t take long before he started to preform around the country sharing the stage with legends like Jaia, Tegma, Itai Taiko , Lupus in Fabula. From small, but epic festival “Upizden” to Samadhi Festival in Quebec and just resent performance at Free Life Festival.  Modulating Sound Pressure Levels leading to his projects name S.P.L His education in sound design and post-production has allowed Evgeni to master both software and hardware resulting in a progression from old school goa-trance with oriental influences through highly psychedelic peak-time dance-floor fillers culminating in a more relaxed albeit pumping progressive sound with a distinctive psychedelic influence.2020 was a very productive year for S.P.L. ProjectReleased on 3 labels :Speedsound records, Geomagnetic records, Power House records, Timelapse records.
