This one’s been years in the making — literally. I started Breakthroughs over 3 years ago and just couldn’t give up on it. Something in me knew it had to be finished, but the mix and arrangement were never quite there… until now.

I’m proud to say this is the final version. It feels complete. It feels right.
And I hope it connects with you in your own way.

The title Breakthroughs comes from a very personal place — a chapter of my life where I took some big steps, faced heavy challenges, but came out on the other side with a new perspective. These moments cracked something open in me, and I wanted to reflect that in the music.

You’ll also hear some spoken word samples — real stories of people who died and came back, sharing messages from “the other side.” Those accounts stuck with me, and I felt compelled to include them. Maybe something in it resonates with you too.

I’ve recently started finishing tracks much faster — some in 4 hours, others in a few days — and I’m excited to share those soon. They’re clubbier, dirtier, more underground… but for now, here’s Breakthroughs, exactly as it was meant to be.

P.S. The cover art is a photo I took with my phone during a moment of peace while DJing on a cruise ship. Felt fitting to pair it with this release.

Hey everyone, thanks for sticking with us for 10 Episodes!  To celebrate, we’re branding this one episode X (remind you of something?) BUT rest be assured, it’s pronounced “ten.”  I saved a special set for this occasion, one from It’ll Do in Dallas.  I still get people posting on my Facebook and Instagram about how much fun they had that night.  Although I can’t blame them, the club is awesome - dark, loud, and sweaty. Just the way I like it. Hi! Slowly I am 39 years old who has loved electronic music for 25 years. What was decisive in my life was the first House Matic party, where Dj Tommyboy, Dj Khül, and Dj Slam Jr. played at the Orosháza Bastion disco in Hungary. I met the greats of Hungarian and foreign electronic music, including Dj Budai, Dj Newl, Dj Junior, Dj Khül who defined my musical tastes. Foreign DJ who inspired me: Dj Carl Cox, Dj Marco Bailey, Dj Luke Slater, Dave Clake, Cristian Varela, Umek, Sven Vath, Rush,
I worked a lot as a young ‘disco droid’ in clubs.
At the time, I didn’t have the courage to learn to mix with professional dj friends before mixing.
Last year I surprised myself with a PIONEER DDJ 400 and since then I’ve been mixing up on a daily basis, gathering music and experience.

For LLout (Lammert Lettinga) from Amsterdam it has always been all about the music. Born and raised in a family with a passion for a wide variety of genres, it became an important part of his life from an early age. Shortly after electronic music caught his attention in the mid-00’s, he started DJ’ing and he has been doing so ever since. Feeling right at home behind the decks, he is often joined by FLEAUX. Together they are 'Riptide Soundsystem'. They produced a number of tracks with Tusk, and launched a series of dance events on boats, called 'Springtij' (Riptide in English).

For the past decade LLout has been perfecting his style and developed a great set of mixing skills. Because of his broad musical background, he has become an octopus when it comes to playing sets in different styles or combining several styles in one set. Twisting them into a whirlwind of disco, deep house, tech-house, techno and some completely off-genre surprises, to take you on a timeless journey through music.
