Powerfully primed for the bass-favoring ranks of electronic music, South Central has proven to be one of the genre’s most unconventional kingpins. A live dance outfit driven to spit in the face of 21st century dance music’s comfort zones, their tremendous sound has mustered incredible landmarks across the globe. Now taking the industry by storm on their own unique terms, these Brighton, UK-based trailblazers really are the unapologetic face of eclectic bass culture that modern dance music has been praying for. 

Emerging with the ability to unite versatile productions and a stubborn track record for live dance redemption, their collaborative efforts have benefitted from a double-edged approach to dance floor dominance. Drawing influences as broad as metal, house and classical music, that fusion of big band energy and coherent dance values remains untouchable. Forget the cookie cutter ranks of dub step and its various offshoots – when South Central strike up, their impact is always felt. 
Armed with three genre-defiant EPs for Dim Mak and successive offerings for Ultra and Big Fish Recordings, their ability to bring new noise to prolific imprints has had the bass-savvy masses gasping for air from day one. Treating their productions as a relentless yet intimate science that opts for innovation over repetition, their middle-finger stance has earned them some serious industry credentials along the way. With a nod of approval as dignified as The Prodigy behind them, this antidote to electronic dance saturation looks to be turning all the right heads.  

Such a versatile sound was always going to wreck havoc on the club floor. Connecting crowds with a focus on upfront energy over meaningless pyrotechnics, South Central remains the center of every one of their adrenaline-fuelled performances. Count tour duties alongside The Prodigy, pendulum, DJ Fresh and Jaguar Skills, plus supporting slots for the likes of Rage Against The Machine and Vitalic and their live capability remains a vital modern dance crossbreed to the industry’s ever-expanding floodgates.

These remorseless antics are showing no signs of slowing on the approach to 2014. Between a remix package for their infamous Hollywood EP, a welcome return to Dim Mak with the Run Hide Survive EP and a peak in attention towards their own Mad Music imprint, the next twelve months look to remain as loud, proud and provocative as we have come to expect from this cutting edge duo set to defile dance music’s safe zones beyond repair.

Since 2009, HULK has walked the earth.  Four long years of audio-conquest, leaving in his wake a scorched land of shattered teeth, broken hearts and ecstasy.  Warlord and alchemist, warrior and poet, HULK has delivered unto the people the truth of sound and forever branded his name into the annals of dubstep.

As the sun sets on his victorious back and the world grows dark, HULK’s gaze falls on those lands yet unconquered.  

He has raged under numerous banners: Rottun Records, SubHuman Records and HULK’s own label, BroTown Records, making him a mercenary monster, a pitiless beast without faction, who delights only in the ripe joy of bass.

His righteousness of rage has been vindicated by some of the genre’s biggest names and beyond:  Modestep, Excision, Dieselboy, Swishahouse and iwrestledabearonce to name just who have worked alongside HULK.  With the reputation of a solid collaborator, 2013 will provide no relief - A huge remix for Public Enemy is impending.

2013 will also bring an unavoidable monthly podcast of fresh and current music, new releases on the BroTown label, and brand new HULK and BroTown merchandise to clothe the huddled masses.

HULK will also demonstrate a warlord’s generosity this year by launching monthly music giveaways with his, “Fresh Fry-Daze”, starting off with an all HULK produced live mix.

Run.  Cower.  Embrace the inevitable.  Whatever you do, HULK cannot, will not be stopped as he marches his new lineup in an endless, bass driven precession across the world.

Originaire de Dordogne , KLM a débuté dans la musique dès son adolescence.
Durant 6 ans, en tant que chanteur et bidouilleur de KORG dans le groupe CAZA KUNZ, il a mis en pratique ses textes et ses samples.
Après avoir écumé différentes salles en Aquitaines pour assurer la première partie de groupes tel que DONKEY SKONK, DARK POETRY, KETAH, LA RUDA SALSKA , BABYLON CIRCUS…  le groupe se disloque ;  c’est alors que KLM continue à triturer ses machines en solo  et crée l’association A.R.C.A.M.  (Association de Regroupement  Culturel Artistique et Musicale) avec des amis du Lot et Garonne. Ensuite, se greffent de nouveaux passionnés de techno tel que CRICKET, BARBUXX, ROMINCHO, TISEB  et PYX-L  pour créer le Sound Système PARAZIK en 2004. C’est à ce moment là qu’il se lance plus à cœur dans la composition de live HARDTECHNO, d’abord sur machines tel que la RM1X et différentes KORG pour finir sur ABLETON LIVE.
Après une dérive sur des tracks plus TribeCore , il crée son label PHARAOHM  en 2010 avec  son ami NATAS avant d’être produit sur un des meilleur label du genre « FREE STYLE LISTEN » la même année. 
L’aventure se poursuit sur une quinzaine de vinyles avec d’autres label tel que ASTROFONIK où KLM se distingue par un style bien à lui mais efficace ; ce qui lui permet de jouer son live sur de belles façades en rave, en technivals  ou dans différents club en France et dans quelques pays frontaliers.
Il joue notamment au coté de OSMIK, VIKO, NATAS, MAELSTROM, BONE MACHINE, NOISEBUILDER, TLB, SPARK, EEBOO, KOSTEN, PARANOIAK SLK, CROCK et JT LABO 14.
C’est d’ailleurs suite à son arrivée sur TOULOUSE en 2009 qu’il rencontre CROCK , NELLO et JT LABO 14 et s’embarque avec BARBUXX et CRICKET dans le collectif OPULSIF .
Il s’essaye alors à d’autres sonorités avec un BPM plus lent  en se testant au mix sur vinyles dans un styles Electro , Break beat.
Il se produit avec les PARAZIK dans différent bars et festivals et notamment à la SUNMAYA 2011 où il s’investit également dans l’organisation.
C’est en 2012 qu’il s’essaye à la production de tracks TECHNO  et se produit sous le nom de NOP.

Ivan Shopov is an artist with many faces, he’s а painter, musician, producer, composer, aesthete and an innovator.
Graduated an MA in print making from The National Academy of Arts in Sofia, he’s the author of numerous ink and acrylic pieces. He’s often drawing and designing artworks and posters for his own projects and for those of popular artists in the electronic scene. So far he’s done eight solo exhibitions in Bulgaria and abroad.

Ivan Shopov has been involved in over 250 musical releases, among which we find both solo and collaborative albums. This has established him as one of the leading figures in the European electronic underground. His various projects span over genres like drum and bass, IDM, jazz, ambient, techno, rock and classical music. Ivan Shopov has released over 120 vinyls for some of the biggest international labels. A part of his own production and the works of artists who he believes in can be found released via his two labels Etheraudio Records and ABCD.

Ivan is working as a composer scoring contemporary dance and theatre productions. He’s contributed music and sound design to various video and short film project, interactive art installations. Since 2012 he’s written the music for 15 dance pieces by Derida Dance. In 2017 one of them is awarded the prestigious “IKAR” award. Shopov has been publishing soundpacks which are often found in the production of fellow electronic artists.

What really separates Ivan Shopov from the other artists in his field is the way he’s mixing traditional Bulgarian folklore with electronic music and jazz. This way he’s building a bridge between his country’s musical history and the current tastes of his audience. Among his most popular releases in this direction are “Kanatitsa” with Avigeya, “InFusion” with Theodosii Spassov, “Kuker” and “Orenda” with Бalkansky.

Ivan Shopov is keen on sharing his knowledge and has been a demanded lecturer and teacher. Besides regularly doing workshops and online courses, since 2016 he’s been lecturing Analog and digital sound design at the National Academy of Arts in Sofia. With 20+ years of experience he’s also regularly working as a mixing and mastering engineer.

The European stages who’ve experienced Ivan’s music are numerous. During his international tours he’s reached USA, South America, Russia, Asia, Australia and New Zealand.
