Neeko Ford is a currently Indie Alternative hip-hop artist & producer from Tucson, AZ. Neeko has featured at the NYC Poetry Festival, Brooklyn Poetry Festival, Oakland Beast Crawl, and basically every local Tucson venue. 
Influences-
Influenced by collage of different shades and styles from near almost every genre, it didn't matter for Neeko, all he cared about is the most important standard he also held his own art too; is it raw and does it come from a vulnerable and introspective place.
So naturally creators such as Eyedea, Atmosphere, Open Mike Eagle all the way to Tom Waits, Lenoard Cohen, Kendrick Lamar, Kurt Cobain, That Handsome Devil, Old School Eminem, Radiohead, Spoon, David Bowie, Sadistik and nearly anybody who isn't terrified of looking afraid played a part in creating Neeko Fords ability to not let one style or a new trend box him into any one category. Therefore always flexible with his words and delivery and a sort of genre gymnast who can bend themself into whatever style of music he feels expresses his message best, never 

Lyrical Topics and Reoccurring Concepts-

Pain is a universal truth that he spends alot of time examining the inner truths of family, addiction, abuse, mental illness, self reflection, stories, sarcastic stints of self deprecating humor, a  magnifying glass into the Phyche of regret filled unbalanced emotions, introspection, hypocrisy; weather it's his closest family or his own he never lets anybody off the hook. Easpecially himself and is clearly conflicted with the entire fear that everything that he hated to have to endure as just a little kid, that he now is falling to his vices and addiction, everything he went through without a choice, he was just a unlucky victim.
but how long until hes the one inflicting truama on others but what if he's just too damaged to truly fathom or know it. the fear that hes no longer just a victim, hes now just as bad as everything he despised .
His biggest fear is not breaking the cycle and becoming everything he hated.
But just by his constant examination of his own short comings shows me he's not anything like his alter egos reflection. Instead using all this pain as motivation to be become better than everything he came from"

I grew up in a family of musicians in Aledo, Texas. When I was 17, I became interested in electronic dance music, and excited about home music production with DAW’s like Logic Pro and FL Studio. Early influences were #ATB, #DaftPunk, #ArminVanBuuren, #Tiesto, #EricPrydz, #BennyBenassi, #Basshunter, and the composers of my favorite game soundtracks. 
 
In 2007 I shifted my focus to an accounting career while in college at Texas Tech and I actually worked full time as a CPA and auditor in Dallas, TX from 2011 to 2020. During this time I found the resources and intent to pursue my passion in music once again; I discovered my own sound and began producing and releasing music as DCPA. After nearly 5 years of living a dual life, in 2020 I left my accounting career in Dallas Texas in order to move to Austin Texas for a full time go at the music industry! I'm doing live shows at several different venues as well as private events in Austin now!
