The German duo made of Sia Fu and Zinne has been a reference on the dubwise scene for the last 6 years with some of their tunes and remixes coming out on labels such as Dirty Dubsters Digital, Run Tingz and JungleX.
Planet Dubwise, is a fine piece work made with original vocals only. All of this recorded by the boys themselves to which they’ve added their signature DnB production style, taking inspiration from the most appreciated reggae vibes out there and composed with the dancefloor in mind.
So here’s how it breaks down, on top of the four original tracks from the 4 Corners Crew featuring Terry Ganzy, Ziggy and no one else than the original General Levy himself, we’ve added a remix for each of them. This time bringing you a true international legion of Dubwise soldiers with the ones like Frisk representing the UK, Isaac Maya representing Mexico, Kursiva for Spain and our inhouse duo U.Stone & Viniselecta with their French touch.

Next level sounds coming from the Science Ninja Team WaqWaq Kingdom, re-charting dub territory as we know it with their highly addictive post-tribal epic Shinsekai (“New World”).

Driven by the trimba (a percussion instrument developed and mastered by Moondog) of Andrea Belfi  (Nils Frahm, Nonkeen, Mike Watt) ––  the ethereal voice of Kiki Hitomi (King Midas, Black Chow) is twisting through a fog of swirling arpeggiators and polyrhythmic textures, all brought together beautifully by bass- and mayhem expert Shigeru Ishihara (DJ Scotch Egg, Seefeel).

‘Shinsekai’ develops its very own language as each of the hypnotic tracks meanders through different stages of deepness and tension, evolving into the bigger picture of an album with a dazzling amount of intrinsic details.

Stunning artwork by Simon Fowler (Sunn O))), The Bug and many more), done in Hanga / relief printing style. Guest vocals on “Step Into The World” by Kathy Alberici. Mastered and cut for extra heaviness by Pole / Scapemastering Berlin.

Vast dunes of harmonic overtones, the title track kicks off with ethereal chords and oriental lead melodies in a constant state of ebb and flow. 'Through The Desert' nests its meditative contents on a heavyweight foundation, overdriven sub-bass bustling amid the auditory sandstorm. On a more technoid venture, 'Mirage Dub' evokes a profound sense of ominous anticipation. As the veil is lifted, swaths of low-frequency excursions mingle amid the authentic percussion and glitched-out ambience. 'Rain' materializes introspective notions and spheres of melancholy. Hovering among the experimental soundscape, it reaches into the depths of consciousness as evanescent strings guide the way. In staccato style, 'Beyond The Temple' sports fidgeting hi-hats and sizzling pressure valves, guided by a creative micro-arrangement and distorted bassline foundation - hazy and expressive with plenty of grooves to round off the trip. Descending into the eerie atmosphere, 'Elderstab' takes a stride through synth Valhalla on top of old-school wobbles, merging in a beautiful and dynamic progression. Returning to the title track, the VIP turns up the heat in a full-on stepper version business fashion, energetic sound system fuel, providing a perfect contrast to the original - proper! Distinguished artist and label boss JahYu takes on 'Rain' and imprints his signature style in a hypnotic version in minimal sound attire as fleeting melodies guide the way through.
