Exploited Club warmly welcome in Pleasure Voyage who step up to the plate and do as they do best: casting out a wide musical net, gathering in influences from Breaks, House, Disco, Balearic and Funk whilst pulling in a hefty dose of fun, flair and ecstasy to boot.

'Cuánto Cuesta' is a simmering pot of pure joy. A bubbling bass line has the track on a low boil throughout while luscious, buoyant synths intimately jostle alongside bold but allaying piano chords. Classic breaks snap in the back while a gently acidic lead flexes in and out of focus and the resultant groove sends out a clear and cosy invitation to get loose.

A regular on Johannes Albert's Frank Music's label and Tensnake's True Romance, Claus Casper chips in with his 'No Tengo Dinero' remix - a fortified revision that packs an extra punch with a layered snare, cow bells and an open hat that seasons the groove with a little bite and snap.

Rolling snare fills punctuate the track as Claus creates ramps for sections that showcase his indisputable chops on the keys. The passion and heat of the orignal remains intact as progress tumbles towards a long, spine-tingling breakdown that pops wide open in a manner that will send the floor absolutely nuts.

Italian producer Birdee launches his brand-new imprint Hot City with ‘Your Love’, a vibrant nu-disco gem featuring the powerhouse UK vocalist that is Alexis Victoria Hall. 
Known for his refined take on modern disco, Italian-born producer Birdee spent time crafting this record in LA’s Silverlake during a sun-drenched creative stint. Blending Californian sunshine with European disco heritage, this uplifting cut brings shimmering strings, a classic bassline, and Hall’s soaring vocals all together for a feel-good anthem built for soulful dancefloors and sunset sessions. “I wanted the first Hot City release to feel joyful and warm. ‘Your Love’ is exactly that,” says Birdee. Originally "Back in the Days" released in 2004 on Resopal Schallware marked Tigerskin as a torchbearer for pop-oriented groovy House, reviving the raw energy of early 90s bleeps, swung beats, and untamed dance floor spirit but transforming it with the technical possibilities of the early 00s into his trademark romantic vision.

From the pulse of “Dance Now” to the cringey charm of “Party in My Car,” Tigerskin proved that Back in the Days was more than a look backward - it was a bridge between era's: a reminder that the roots of club culture still grow, still breathe, still move people.

Two decades on, this re‑release doesn’t just bring back nostalgia - it reminds us that reminiscing every once in a while can push creativity. The album and a few EPs around it were the start of a pretty different approaches to club music for Tigerskin, that led to several big tracks and remixes, some now considered to be classics by many. 

The three formerly unreleased and slightly more club-oriented bonus tracks had been recorded the same year but were amongst many that didn’t make it to the album.
