Capiuz is the experimental dance project of producer and performer Luca Favaro. Based in Italy, his genre-merging production focuses on exploring rhythm and sound design in a club context. Often leaning towards live performances, Capiuz’s music takes the form of a heavy hitting outburst filled with heavy bass, breakcore progressions and granular textures.

Pulverized EP encapsulates a sombre and hectic atmosphere. On Bling Ring, a simple reggaeton beat is turned into a slow and heavy pulsation topped with thematic rhythms and a little faster in its tempo.

Pulverized enters a more ritualistic soundscape with a steady, unrelenting pulse, distant drums and granulized samples.

Transcend into a never-before-defined expanse of sounds as TT welcomes back BFTT with his debut album ‘Redefines’. The statement of a periodic 4-year writing process marks his most reflective work to date - a meticulously sculpted sound which introspectively draws from everything that he has produced. The album is not only a testimony to BFTT’s sonic journey but the embodiment of time itself. Interpreted as an ‘audio diary’, it puts into sound a spectrum of rose tinted emotions which are attached to the samples buried within each track. Taken from YouTube videos and recordings from his phone, a subconscious process of redefinition has attributed additional meaning to the samples over time. BFTT’s eulogization of the inexplicable beauty in this false nostalgia is conveyed as a colossal encyclopaedia of sounds, spaces and rhythms, taking you on a journey into the past through the sounds of future.

‘Redefines’ will keep you on the edge of your seat as BFTT effortlessly flits between different sonic terrains. From beatless expanses of desolate rainy soundscapes, to highly charged spectrums of beats, to varying iterations of glitchy vocal samples. Expect switch-ups between warming subterranean basslines and steely high-frequency refractions in a matter of seconds. Off-kilter beats compressed tight enough to pack a punch morph into more dubby distortions and reverberating kicks. To close, a dissonant orchestra of acoustic strings masterfully tying together the album.

TL;DR: this one’s a special record.

Desa paisaxe interna emerxen melodías sumerxidas nun pulso de tensión-relaxación, levadas a través de ritmos rotos nos que procurar a luz.

Foi producido nun tempo de caverna no inverno compostelán de 2022 xunto a Juait no son e a Celia López na art work.

Cafurna is the advance single from my debut ep: ZZEN.

Cafurna is a cave. In it you can perceive an atmosphere coming from some energetic center of the earth-person.

From this internal landscape emerge melodies submerged in a pulse of tension-relaxation, carried through broken rhythms in which to find the light.

It was produced in a cavernous time in the compostelan winter of 2022 with Juait in the sound and Celia López in the artwork.
