AVA. Records celebrates its 10th anniversary with 52 artists. 10 Yahre is a 4LP compilation housing 22 tracks, a printed 30 pages magazin and a mixed CD. All wrapped in a custom made silkscreen sleeve, also including a textile keychain and stickers. Sonically spanning from ambient to techno, 10 Yahre carries new and exclusive material, all woven around the label’s decade focus on dance floor culture, started 2011 in Cologne, Germany.

'Everyone’s favourite Israeli digger is back for another round of gloriously rare edit heat on Razor-N-Tape. Tel Aviv’s Elado returns to the Brooklyn imprint for PT. 2 of his edit series with four deadly disco dancefloor weapons.  Elado has been a driving force in his home city scene, avidly collecting records for three decades and Djing for the best part of two. In 2020 he stormed the edit world where his kaleidoscopic musical palette was heard for the first time on Razor-N-Tape and Eddie C’s Red Motorbike.  He is a master manipulator in turntablism and a much-touted tastemaker, fully immersing himself in Tel Aviv’s vibrant nightlife. Armed with a custom-built rotary mixer from Condesa, he utilizes his musical instincts with rich DJ sets that see him seamlessly weave through breakbeat, electro, disco, house & lost grooves from across the globe. Other releases can be found on G.A.M.M, Barefoot Beats, Bonfido Disques, and the mighty Secret Squirrel.

 'Baila’ gets the party started with infectious flamenco chants and claps over a churning acidic groove, and ‘Disco Hummus’ rounds out the side with a bit of joyful disco cheek. On the flip, ‘Sun’ turns an unlikely cover of a classic into an Afro Disco banger, and ‘Simba’ rumbles and rolls with restraint toward a hypnotic peak of brass and vocals. In the digital age, the compilation has lost much of it’s former glory. Not too long ago it was an indespensable format for the music-lover. Was it brilliantly compiled and telling a special story, the compilation was a significant gain as a particularly successful artist album.

In recent times, the compilation has been cheapened with generic ’Ibiza’ and ’Miami’ labelling as the genre compilation all but dissapeared from the scene.

This brought DJ T. to an idea, to create an homage to this nearly extinct format. As vol. 1 of the project is supposed to be a highly visible counterpoint to the ubiquitous, mostly House and Techno-stocked season sets and theme compilations, his choice fell on Disco; one of the oldest species in club music. Disco is currently experiencing a sort of rennaissance, with many young, and until recently, completely unknown artists and labels carrying the heritage on by working with new and contemporary definitions.

Naturally limited by the selection of works available digitally, DJ T. chose a very personal array of 43 tracks to give the connoisseur an overview of the newest branches in the Disco-tree and to cover as many diverse genres the last three decades have seen.

As the ’cherry on top’, the compilation contains a handfull of exclusive and unreleased tracks, including two new edits of the old DJ T. classics ’Philly’ & ’Funk On You’. Catz ’N Dogz appear with a remix of ’Dis’, the big hit of his second album. DJ T. also put his hands on one of his favourite classics ’Around The House’, one of the early works of the Hamburg-Disco-King Tensnake. In addition there are two unreleased tracks from the two mexican artists Robbie Akabal & Muan and Damian Uzabiaga.

The new 10 inch SuperSingle 160 by O*RS takes us back on a journey through time without suffering a loss of modern or contemporary sound. With "BodyTalk" the Berlin based female producer PEREL creates a future house classic featuring no less than Abba Lang. Lang, who lives in Berlin but originally comes from Uganda, not only ads his voice to the original track but creates a delicate Hip Hop rhythm while reciting - and harmonizes perfectly with PERELs vocals and the sound of the track. "This Love", the second track featured on the limited SuperSingle is a House tune which has it all: love for detail, funky grooves and extravaganza. O*RS 10inch 160 - one record, five tracks and a perfect fusion of House and Hip Hop.
The black gold will also be available in digital form. Besides the two original tracks O*RS offers two fantastic remixes as well as a dub version of "Body Talk" as a digital bonus. The "Dubson Booty Remix" teases out the sound of the 90s and pushes "Body Talk" skillfully into 2014. Nico Bulla's interpretation is fresh and different. The lowered baseline add another dimension to the original track and so creates a unique character of sound. How could it be different, the dub version perfectly enraptures the sound of the original. It emphasizes all the Hip Hop elements in a typical dub manner and produces a first class symbiosis of House and Hip Hop. O*RS 10inch 160 - one record, five tracks and a perfect fusion of House and Hip Hop.

Third Attempt is Torje Fagertun Spilde, a 22 years old artist and DJ originally from Asker, just outside of Oslo. Now established in Tromsø, Norway, he is one of the young forces in the rising new generation of electronic producers from the birthplace of the Northern Disco Groove.
Third Attempt has a distinct and uplifting flavour, firmly planted in the smoother areas of deep house. His influences range from jazz to ambient, trip hop to classic house. Third Attempt's first Beatservice single "Shoreline" accumulated numerous accolades and tens of thousands of plays on various streaming platforms. After three two-track EP's, and one four track EP, it is now time for a new album from Third Attempt! 
The album continues his mixture of funky, jazzy and deephouse grooves, but, while his EP's have been aimed mostly for the dancefloor, the album is on the smoother end of the scale.
