From the stars to the stratosphere comes a new injection of energy from veteran duo Local Suicide (@localsuicide). After many years touring the globe and consistently releasing dancefloor crushing tracks the two are launching their very own label ‘Iptamenos Discos’. To ring in the new era they are releasing a new track which was crafted in the 2020 lockdown and will set the stage for what is to come with their brand new label. 

IDI001 is an offering from the dark corners of space bringing together spooky drones and spiralling melodies that hover like an incoming force from beyond. Coming from Greek, 'Iptamenos Discos' means flying saucer. The track features an assemblage of their friends chanting this phrase in 23 different languages which adds a lush blend of vocal layers.

Hailing from Greece, Vamparela and her husband Brax Moody from Germany have gained a reputation for their eclectic works across many genres such as dark disco, new wave, indie dance, EBM & industrial to name a few. They have worked with artists such as Curses, Theus Mago, Rodion, Alejandro Paz, Kalipo, Mijo, Thomass Jackson, Skelesys & many more. 

They plan to continue along these roads of success as the label will represent music in same vain, building on their fruitful past. No doubt a rock solid label to keep your ears and eyes on in 2021 and beyond. Look out for the new single which will be released on a strictly-limited clear Dubplate 12” and on all digital platforms.

Tulioxi is one of the new great personalities of the Italian Nu Disco Scene. He Has published at least thirtyworks, among EP's, singles and collaborations with other artists.

Tulioxi has established himself as one of the most interesting talents of the new Italian Disco Scene for thelast 10 years. His Works are well respected amid the international community of Indie Disco Artists and hisname has been circulating into the inner circle of DJs and producers from all over the world.

For the last decade, his released music shows how creative and prolific he is, keeping his productions at avery high level in terms of originality and experimentation, and his search for a personal sound isconfirmed in every new work.

He is one of the masterminds behind Cosmic Sumo Recordings and one of the developers of MEFF, theannual Modular synthesizer Exhibition Fair in Florence, tied to the brand Tiptop Audio, one of the mostpopular synth module manufacturers in Eurorack format.

Video Self-Delight is a great piece of work composed by 2 original tracks - Video Self Delight and ZorkanMachine - and 2 remixes by Günce Aci from Turkey and Stockholm Youth (Stockholm Syndrome and Tronik Youth) from UK and Australia.

'Literatura return to connected, this time collaborating with Spanish house hero DJ CHUS for ‘Dallallallum’, backed with a remix from DJEFF.

DJ CHUS is a veteran of the electronic dance scene and a pioneer of an organic tribal percussive “Iberican” sound. Here he takes a break from his Redolent imprint to collaborate with the enigmatic Literatura for this latest release on connected. For the remix, DJEFF brings his ‘Afropean’ sound to bear, further evidencing why he is so in demand.

The original of ‘Dallallallum’ features tight and punchy drums and percussion, a trademark of DJ CHUS, whilst a smokey, lounging bass line and stuttering dubby rises bring the Literatura influence to the fore. The track is enhanced by the searching vocal punctuations from featured artist Gedion and the whole production has an intense atmosphere that wraps itself around the groove.

Angola’s DJEFF takes on remix duties, delivering a hypnotic revision built on a galloping rhythm and pulsing offbeat bassline. Subtle use of the original vocal and strings give this a heads down and heady feel that is truly captivating.

This is another surefire winner from DJ CHUS, Literatura and the team at connected.'

'The lead track “Milla Ella” is a refreshing lively body mover with a punk attitude. Elements of grunge and haunting guitar trills combine with tight percussion, layered vocal chants and swelling noise into a peaking crescendo that keeps you high throughout.

Next up, “Just Like A Shadow” is reminiscent of dusty desert plains. Evolving and evocative sounds, touches of hang drum, and an otherworldly vocal story take you to another plane, if only for 7 minutes.

We are excited to welcome Apnoea back to mobilee on remix duties, after their debut EP “Why We Breathe” earlier this year. They transform “Just Like A Shadow” into a dark and twisting route through the deeper side of melodic techno, a unique spin, laying the foundations for many a discerning dance floor moment in clubs this summer.'

Fake Expectations es el título del EP que desarollan los productores mexicanos Lusca del dúo Los Fugazzi & Andrem de FLXXX.

El primer remix esta a cargo de los hermanos Cornejo, Sequencers, nuestros veteranos tapatíos favoritos por excelencia. Ellos realizan una versión oscura del sencillo bastante apegada al mix original, torciéndolo un poco con su downtempo característico.

Complementando de una manera brillante las remezclas, figura Undefined Pattern, en el cual canaliza la expresión musical original del sencillo para presentarnos dos versiones, que sin duda alguna, genera incertidumbre de cuál es su mejor versión.

Por último, aparece el mix original Swell, el cual ya había sido lanzado en campaña únicamente en SoundCloud. En esta pista original de Lusca, el productor utiliza su ya definido sonido de sintetizador distorsionado con un bajo que hace mover la cabeza para pegar todo el track.

Le groupe franco-écossais signé chez Tigersushi est né de la rencontre entre Frédéric Soulard (producteur pour Poni Hoax) et Mark Kerr (batteur pour les Rita Mitsouko ou Discodeine). 
Ensemble, ils ont donné naissance à Mountains of Madness en 2015. Trois ans plus tard les voilà de retour avec un nouveau membre, Antoine Boistelle (batteur pour Vitalic) mais surtout avec un album nommé Monkey Business. Avec ce nouveau disque, Maestro continue à mélanger les styles et évolue entre pop, techno, rock, etc. Pourtant dans ce tourbillon d’influences, le groupe arrive à trouver une réelle harmonie. “Harmony“ est d’ailleurs le titre du morceau d’ouverture de Monkey Business. Une chanson qui résume parfaitement l’esprit du disque, entre hymne pop et tuerie du dance-floor, et dont Yuksek délivre ici en exclusivité un parfait remix pour vos soirees d'été.

A Benefit Compilation for Homelessness in Los Angeles County from Pleasure of Love

Pleasure of Love presents a compilation of dance music to raise awareness and benefit the homelessness epidemic in Los Angeles County.  DJs, producers, and musicians from Los Angeles and around the world contributed tracks, hoping to shed light on the issue and provide a little relief over the winter holidays and beyond.

Artists included are Aimes (Wonder Stories), Wild & Free, Club Tularosa, JMMSTR, Ghosts of Venice, Turbotito, FSQ, Peter Croce (Rocksteady Disco), Ladymonix (Frizner Electric), Mojito Boys, Sacre Galaxie, DJ Duckcomb, Air Zaire, Dream Machines, Band of Misfits, Mix & Fairbanks, and Nala (London).

Homelessness in LA County surged over 75% in less than 6 years, as reported by the LA Times back in February, 2018.  Housing shortages, rising rents, and a slow response to help aid the homeless have created a complex and dangerous situation in LA’s notorious skid row and beyond.  In an effort to best utilize the funds we generate from this benefit, we’ll be donating specifically to Downtown Women’s Center in LA.  Per the shelter’s website-

“The Downtown Women’s Center (DWC) is the only organization in Los Angeles focused exclusively on serving and empowering women experiencing homelessness and formerly homeless women.
We envision a Los Angeles with every woman housed and on a path to personal stability. Our mission is to end homelessness for women in greater Los Angeles through housing, wellness, and advocacy.”

About Pleasure of Love-
Pleasure of Love is a weekly disco, house, and international funk flavored party in Hollywood, CA.  On its 2nd year, the party has had guests from around the world play alongside founder Dino Soccio, focusing on underground house and disco in the small basement club Dirty Laundry.  A small cult following led to the launch of a vinyl only imprint in 2018.  The label is currently working on its 4th release slated for January 2019.
