El madrileño Roll Dann mantiene la alta calidad de sus primeros lanzamientos con un nuevo EP en su sello Opera 2000 presentando cuatro cortes finos.

Roll Dann ya ha impresionado con lanzamientos en  Modularz, Soma y Pole Group. Lo que atrae es la naturaleza directa de su techno de contundente , y viene impregnado de las inspiraciones que ha adquirido durante una temporada en Berlín, así como del legado de su amor adolescente por el hardtechno-schranz.

 El comienzo de la Opera 2000 de Roll Dann & _asstnt marca un cambio en la dirección creativa de Roll Dann, donde se enfoca en un estilo agresivo pero hermosamente emotivo que se muestra maravillosamente en su primer lanzamiento en solitario en el sello titulado "Oppression Dance".

'When The Hate Goes Away' es un monstruo techno agotador y exagerado con bombos solidos alicatados a baterías y sintetizadores efervescentes que pone del revés cualquier pista de baile. 

Un trabajo completamente esencial de este 2020.

Italian artist Riccardo Scala has been deep in preparation for his arrival on the electronic music scene. Taking a studied approach to music, he has spent the last few years studying production, immersing himself in the dance floor and refining his craft. A rarity in today’s fast-paced climate, Riccardo opted to take the long road, cultivating a high level of skill and ability, combined with first-hand experience, to truly understand the music he composes. Since he began producing, Riccardo has been meticulous, spending hours in the studio honing his craft and holding back on releasing any music until it was at a high enough standard. As a result he has compiled an exceptional collection of unreleased tracks, ready to grace the dance floors of the world. Inspired to create music that tantalises the listener, provoking emotion and movement through melody, rhythm and bass, Riccardo has a unique sound that strikes the perfect balance between the club environment and home listening.
His evolution encompassed the notion that club music could also be enjoyed at home, since he spent the majority of his teenage years doing exactly that. This lies at the core of his musical expression, envisioning the home listener when he’s making beats in the studio.
The result is a refined, vibrant, expressive sound that stimulates kinetic energy, while also eliciting a deep emotional response. Riccardo’s diverse tastes feed into his output, from Latin American and tribal music to soundtracks and classical, he enjoys storytelling through rhythm and vibration. This is evident is all of his productions which are harmonious, dynamic, vivid and full of emotional depth, while also having the capability to rock the dance floor. It’s a difficult balance to achieve, but it can be heard throughout Riccardo’s stunning works.
