Jacques Brel, Bourvil, Fernandel, Bill Baxter ? Ces noms de vous ne disent peut-être rien mais ils ont marqué la musique Française il y a déjà bien longtemps.

Producteur et DJ depuis de nombreuses années, et très nostalgique des vieux artistes oubliés, c’est en 2013 que Le Magasin décida de dépoussiérer ces vieux morceaux pour les remettre au goût du jour en version Electro Deep House et de les faire découvrir à un public plus jeune. Mais quel a été le déclencheur ?

Très influencé par la disco, la house et la Deep House, Il commença, par un jour de forte chaleur, sa quête de remixeur avec le chanteur Bourvil et son morceau Salade De Fruit qui a connu un franc succès avec de nombreuses écoutes et réactions positives sur Soundcloud. Et maintenant ? Et dans le futur ?

Depuis quelques années, il multiplie la création de nouveaux remixs tout en s’efforçant de préserver la qualité et la texture du morceau original et continue sa recherche de pépites aux paroles originales, profondes et aux mélodies étonnantes. Il cherche à se produire devant un public nostalgique de redécouvrir ces artistes en version remixée mais cherchera aussi à toucher un public jeune, novice et curieux.

Texas meets Tradicional via music-duo, Royal Highness, comprised of Príncipe Q (of TRiPpY CHoLo and Bombón) and DJ King Louie (of cult Latin-American DJ Crew, Peligrosa). Fusing Tradicional Latin sounds and a heavy element of slowed Houston screw with varying electronic styles, (such as trap, house, d&b, etc.) Royal Highness are the creators of "Screwmbia".

King Lou  (Luis Espada) -Born in Madrid and grew up in Mexico, so it makes sense why his repertoire of Cumbia, Hip Hop & House keep professional party goers moving all night and into the morning hours. The Austin-based DJ recently released a mix for Madgods Clothing along with various other mixes of varying styles.  He has played on the East and West coast at parties such as Dim Mak Tuesdays,Tormenta Tropical, Hard Festival, Nocturnal Festival, Moombahton Massive and Que Bajo?!?! and has toured south america and Europe in 2011/2012.  He has been billed with greats such as Afrojack, MSTRKRFT, L-Vis 1990, Dan Oh, Toy Selectah, Dillon Francis, Uproot Andy, Nadastrom, Mixpak, Sinden, Flosstradamus and many others. His work in Austin includes monthly parties (Peligrosa) as well as weekly performances, he is an associate of Raw Word Records and a Peligrosa Member, and He has been known to dazzle the crowd into a frenzy with his high energy!  http://soundcloud.com/king_louie

Principe Q (S'vani Quintanilla)- Son of A.B. Quintanilla III, born and raised in Corpus Christi TX, S'vani found his passion for producing music at 18 while under the mentorship of DJ Dus (El Dusty) and since then has continued to blossom in to the powerhouse producer he is today. Being the nephew of the late Queen of Tejano (THE Selena Quintanilla-Perez) put pressure on him to create a new sound for Texas, just as she did in her prime. He began experimenting with finding ways to keep the old, familiar sound of cumbia fresh and new, while also keeping it as Texas as possible. Noted as the creator of the “Screwmbia” sound, he has grown a close relationship with the music scene in Houston. He is a member of Houston-based DJ collective Bombon as well as the founder of TRiPpY CHoLo, Houston's newest cumbia psicodelico band.  @principeqtx
