...the Lille-based producer, has been in the game for almost a decade. Disco/funk and house lover, offers through his productions, varied influences and a positive atmosphere.

After several titles acclaimed by the house public, he delivered a lot of tracks on the Houz label, Wikett makes his latest tracks a delicate experience for fans of House music.

‘Tale behind the Tape’
This is the actual mixtape that was passed to UpYerRonson promotor Tony Hannan who came up to me in The Faversham pub one Friday night in 1993 whilst having a few beers, said he’d heard my mix and invited me down to the club to play…THAT SAME NIGHT! Talk about being thrown in at the deep end…I initially said no to him as I was up at 4am the next day for work (I was a Postman) 🤦🏻‍♂️ but my girlfriend at the time talked some sense into me by calling me an idiot! Next thing I’m running after Tony who had walked off in disbelief that this cheeky chap from Horsforth had just turned down the opportunity to DJ at arguably the biggest Friday night club night in UK at the time….I tapped him on shoulder and said yes I’ll come play then rushed home, ran up to The Loft (my bedroom) in the Bunga’High’ , threw some records in a flightcase and headed down to The Music Factory in Leeds to play to a packed dancefloor, a totally unplanned, off the cuff set….rocked it….and the rest, I guess, is history!

The mix was recorded at home in Horsforth, Leeds waaay back at the early days of my DJ journey....I lived with my parents in a Bungalow that had a loft conversion...my bedroom was up in the loft, and due to some of the after parties, pre-parties and ‘jams’ that would go on for days, it was aptly renamed 'The BungaHIGH'...the place I honed my craft and creativity as a DJ. 
Just 3 x Technics 1210 vinyl turntables and a basic Realistic mixer. No gain, bass, mid or treble to adjust if the tracks bass or keys are clashing...just an ear and my own way of doing tings! It's up there as probably the best mix I've ever done...definitely the best vinyl mix for sure!
