Mauri's passion:
Mauri's passion for music had begun when he was a child. Mauri has played a number of different instruments such as the guitar, piano, drums, bugle and the charango (instrument from Bolivia), but the main instrument that he ended up specialising in was the violin. He has performed in front of big crowds being part of orchestras, a live mass band, as part of a duet when he was young and also participated in musical competitions where he had won 1st prize and 2nd prize for the violin and piano. Ever since the age of 19 Mauri wanted to take his love of music to the next level and after playing at several house parties he was spotted and offered a 2 hour spot at a nightclub in London in the West End.
 
From then his DJ work began and as well as trying to juggle a number of other responsibilities he has managed to DJ at many venues across several cities/towns including Plymouth, London, Tavistock, Exeter, Brighton, Southampton & Bournemouth. DJ Mauri has DJ'd at private functions, charity events, birthday parties, festivals and at nightclubs & bars as well as weekly nights from International Thursday at Firefly to Bailamos bi weekly at Voodoo Lounge. 
 
Radio presenter:
Mauri has contributed a lot to latin music and the latin dance scene in the south west, especially after launching and running a successful regular latin radio show called Viva Latina that was launced back in 2011 with a team of latin radio presenters playing the best mix of latin music from salsa, bachata, merengue and much more to online LIVE audiences every saturday from 3-5pm. This radio show ran for many months hitting high numbers of regular listeners.

Some of DJ Mauri's recent DJ gigs include the Volksfest music festival in Plymouth, regarded as one of South West UK's biggest music festivals as well as the Marazion Carnival in Penzance, Cornwall among the St George's festival in Plymouth.

Songbird ILana Lorraine, An Artist/Songwriter/Producer and Community leader who began songwriting at 10 years old and kept her musical talent hidden as she built her career within the Music and Entertainment Industry helping other talent and bringing people together. 
Now with 20 years experience that kicked off at Sony Music,  Ilana chose to take the DIY independent root, crowdfunding her debut album My Little Tree and later gaining support from the Arts Council UK to produce  her own initiatives to inspire others to find their own artist way. 
From handmade album covers, organising  intimate pop up gigs, Flashmobs & public showcases Ilana founded  communities, gathering people together through her music and events.

Ilana curated successful tribute events for Michael Jackson on the MTV EMA’s, for Amy Winehouse and Prince;
'She's brought together seasoned and fresh musicians from around the world at Sessions58 and Tea n’ Jam, including performances by Eartha Kitt, Beverley Knight and The Roots.

Ilana then went on to create her own Artist Retreat and Development Consultancy  “The Coach House” to help other talent find their artist way.

She’s been a Guardian of Bespoke, Historic Homes; a Promoter of Iconic, Global Music Careers; a Curator of the Fairytale in Hampstead Heath during Lockdown Times, and now she is back to make yet another dream a reality. 

Ilana’s music is hauntingly beautiful. It stirs the soul, the mind, and plucks ever so gently at the heartstrings. Her transformative lyrics and soulful voice awaken the senses, provide hope and evoke courage.

Her internal voice optimistic and determined to keep love alive, a prayer to encourage hope, an inner mantra to awaken her heart, and a calling to have self-love and find strength.

Ilana’s singing voice and songs became a mantra and call out to passersby as she sang overlooking a lake in her lockdown initiative “The Fairytale” to keep music alive and bring serenity to the public in the Summer of 2020. It bloomed into a safe haven for the local community in  London infamous Hampstead Heath and got imprinted and recorded in history when it got written as a full chapter in the book The Heath, written by The Beatles Biographer Hunter Davis and published last year.

Harmon International, Waves Audio and the British Arts Council have recognised her as an authentic guiding light as her work, her support, her guidance - has touched so many over the years. Ilana is more than a producer, a promoter, a songwriter, a vocalist and an artist. She's a curator of dreams, a magical creator of communities an architect of making anything possible!.
