We went a bit ravey with this one, and that's a good thing.

Breakbeat heavy tune ’T-800 Type Beat’ serves as the power tune in the release through it’s percussive breakbeat, nostalgia inducing synths and an infectious bassline driving up the energy levels alongside sampled vocal chops

St. Petersburg native (and Lobster Theremin & Steel City Dance Discs mainstay) Maruwa provides an amazing 90’s trance influenced remix to the 12”. Having just remixed Skream (omg), her style is exactly what we dig. In this remix jacking drums and classic synth chords form a solid foundation on top of a gritty acid bassline

‘Roxanna_Break_Stuff’ incorporates memories of acid bright neons, the ubiquitous smileys, baggy trousers and bucket hats. Pumping drums, funky synth work and a standout vocal edit makes this one a unique and catchy piece of rave music culture.

‘Roxanna_Break_Stuff comes accompanied with a remix by Japan’s rising UK garage producer Stones Taro, who's been featured lately in several places with his on target vinyl releases and precise DJ mixes.

A bit different one is ‘Takedown Request Edit’, which stands out as the deepest track on the release, keeping things eccentric in terms of the rhythm section while bringing in spacey pads to close out the record on a high note.

"ISSUES REMIXES" EP offers a different take on DJ MELL G's critically acclaimed solo LP. The remix edition breathes new sounds and textures into "ISSUES", led by some of the most innovative and exciting talents in today's electronic music scene. By writing and producing music about her own experiences with BPD and featuring Manuka Honey, Sally C, Cyan85, Ben Pest and Peachlyfe along the way, DJ MELL G continues to raise awareness about the condition, challenge stigmatised views, and empower others to create meaningful dialogue around mental health.

Belfast-born, Berlin-based producer, DJ and label boss Sally C closes the remix EP on a jackin' vibe while retaining the gnarly, dark-tinted synthline of "BORDERLINE." She lightens the mood by blending a bouncy bassline with playful, bell-like percussion, resulting in a head-nodding, peak-time tune in true Sally C-style. It rounds off the release on a distinctly groovy and uplifting note.

Italian electronic club music producer Capiuz / @tu_music comes back with a high-energy two-track EP filled to the brim with chopped-up vocal samples and drum brakes. Stemming from a branch off his latest hard/techno work for Delusions, Light Disruption pushes even further the rhythmic experimentations with hardcore kicks.

Syncopated patterns fuse with long and distorted jungle breaks to create a morphing being that quickly changes style while maintaining a cohesive texture. The repetitive and distorted vocals create addictive loops that often get disrupted by the percussive elements.
