Harvest Festival holds a special place in my heart as the first camping festival I ever went to, the place where I met my forever love, made countless friendships and where I first hosted a We Met Dancing workshop.

This set was entirely unplanned (other than the first and last song)and represents a truly divine energy exchange between myself and the dancefloor. Me Time is a state of flow I enter when I feel truly connected to the space and free to express myself. It opened up a musical portal to explore different moods, genres and nostalgia - through house, techno, breaks, hip hop, trance, dubstep, bassline, afrobeat and beyond. 

This is my gift to Harvest - to the land and the dancers who keep the magic alive year after year. Thank you Justin, David and Irving for inviting me to open Crystal6 - a memorable way to start a beautiful Saturday night under the light of the Harvest Moon.

Me Time - Harvest Festival 2019

Me Time (she/her) is an artist, event producer and community advocate who engages dance music as a catalyst for social change. 

Me Time has become a local favourite known for genre-mashing and perfectly-time dancefloor stormers. Her mixes are eclectic vibe infusions, where bass is the common denominator. 

From performing at Tomorrowland Belgium, to headlining underground parties in Toronto to selling out her monthly dance parties EveryBody and Bass Witch, she is a champion of safer spaces that celebrate sobriety and moderation, promote diverse underrepresented artists and hold intentional space for all bodies to move freely.

Me Time founded Selecta School to address gender inequity on lineups by providing inclusive, accessible and fun DJ workshops for all skill levels that focus on nurturing the innate ‘selecta’ in all of us. 

Notes on the mix ///
"This mix was inspired by the opening speech Ravyn Wingz gave to the media after 3 Black Lives Matter protesters accused of dousing statues of racist Confederation-era politicians with pink paint in Toronto, Canada. It is an expression of Radical Love animated by the music that ignites a soft fierceness within me. When it would seem easier to stop the music and mourn in silence, this is a response to anti-Blackness activated by joy; where Black pleasure is political and where dancing together in the face of injustice is collective activism. Dance music fuels the Radical Hope that keeps us shouting in the face of silence, rising up in the face of violence, thriving beyond the margins and creating beauty above censorship. 

In this mix, you will hear sounds from the frontlines interspersed with rave ecstasy, techno gospels, nasty fem trap, anxiety house and my unreleased original consent anthem."
