Luckiely we found a part from our set we played on fusion festival at Sonnendeck this year and being  super happy to share it with you, cause this was a special and unforgettabel time for us and we  are still speachless. We got engaged the day before wile our beloved matanzas where playing so we where floating high of emotions in to our gig the next day and wow this was breathtaking and one of our greates showes so far, something for the books. So enjoy the trip as much as we did

Ahhh, Tuesday Night was our annual HOMECOMING party. Dj Hugø started off the night in the firey dome with his signature blend of warm inviting melodies that aligned our frequencies and synchronized our vibrations. Take a listen to 2 Hours of magic, close your eyes and be transported back home.

What a day at my favourite playground.. This is the set I played on May 1st from 11am-3pm on Sisyphos' beach. 
I feel like some transitions could have been smoother, and I did some things I usually never do (playing 2 tracks by the same artist in a row :o ) .. but the vibe was just so beautiful, that none of that really mattered.. The first Kai Castro & Friends topped all expectations.

I'm still figuring out what I like my sound to be when headlining, but I really liked where I went with this one. I played out a ton of my own productions alongside new and old favorites in a wacky blend of techno & progressive that I feel was distinctly Kai Castro.

A huge thanks to Vibe Vessel for giving me musical reigns over their wonderful Holy House series for the day, and for everybody who fought exhaustion to come out and support.

Raised in Dubai and now living in the Netherlands, Revelries are a musician duo producing a variety of house, pop and dance music records. 2017 saw Revelries make their mark in the industry with deep house remixes that amassed millions of streams across Spotify, YouTube and SoundCloud. Their 2018 breakthrough, Feel It Still is a melodic house rendition of Portugal. The Man's classic and has garnered over 5 million streams on Spotify since its release. They’re follow up singles like Infinitum, Don't Think Twice and Handle have also brought in millions of streams.
The pair's trademark production comes from their use of organic sounds (think lots of guitar, piano and strings) mixed with deep electronic bass lines. With a startup mentality and a love for all things art, Revelries are growth hacking their way into orbit.

Ich nehme langsam meine Kopfhörer ab und schau dem Ruhestörer genau in die Augen. Seine ganze Aufmachung  versetzt mich in Erregung. Mit den vielen Sponsoren auf seiner Jacke sieht er aus wie eine wandelnde Litfaßsäule. Ein Symbol der Kommerzialisierung auf zwei Beinen. Nach einer kurzen Pause möchte er wissen wo mich mein Weg heute hinführt. Bevor ich die Frage abschließend beantworten konnte, drückt er mir auch schon einen Flyer in die Hand und unterbricht mich. Ist ja auch egal was ich vor hätte, heute Abend gäbe es nur einen „place to be“. ComRa Events hätte mal wieder die Grenzen zum möglichen durchbrochen und eine Rave der absoluten Superlative auf die Beine gestellt. Meine Antwort auf diese dreiste Unterbrechung meiner spirituellen prärave Alltagsanomalien ließen ihm die Gesichtszüge entgleiten, denn die einzigen Grenzen die ihr durchbrochen wurden, waren die meiner Privatsphäre.

Ich stehe auf und drängele mich an dem lebenden Werbebanner vorbei. Dabei greift er gezielt meine Hand und zieht meinen Ärmel hoch. Er wirft einen prüfenden Blick auf die Kapsel an meinen Handgelenk. Bevor ich mich zur Wehr setzen kann lässt er meinen Arm wieder los und notiert sich blitzschnell etwas in sein Smartphone. Danach lächelt er wieder freundlich und weißt mich darauf hin, dass ich doch immer viel Spaß auf den ComRa Events gehabt hätte. Damit er mich endgültig zufrieden lässt, schnappe ich mir einen Flyer und heuchle ihm vor, dass ich es mir nochmal überlegen würde. An der nächsten Haltestelle verlasse ich etwas konsterniert die Straßenbahn. 
Was war das eben für eine bizarre Begegnung und was hat sich der Typ in seinem Smartphone notiert. Völlig verloren in meinen Gedanken schlendere ich durch die Straßen. Mein eigentliches Ziel hatte ich völlig aus den Augen verloren. Eigentlich wollte ich doch feiern gehen und heute gute Musik genießen.

Spieltape wird euch und unseren leicht verwirrten Protagonisten mit seinen Können an den Decks bestimmt wieder in Stimmung bringen. Wir wollen doch nicht, dass ihr euer Ziel fürs Wochenende aus den Augen verliert.

Nach fast 7 Jahren Pause ist Micha 2017 wieder aktiv an die Decks gestiegen. In den 90ern hat das Urgestein der Leipziger Technoszene, als „Ditte“ nicht nur in Deutschland von sich reden gemacht. Er war Mitveranstalter der legendären EASTSIDE Partys (1993-2001) und leitete von 2003 bis 2006 den kleinen, sehr feinen Club Molendyk. Im Jahr 2003 gewann er völlig verdient den MDR Sputnik Turntable Days DJ Contest vor 49 weiteren DJ´s. Er beherrscht es wie kaum ein Zweiter, immer das gewisse Etwas in seine Sets einzubauen. Am brillanten Mixing und der Track-Auswahl erkennt man, dass da 30 Jahre Erfahrung hinter den Decks stehen. After a break of almost 7 years, Micha actively took to the decks again in 2017. In the 90s, the veteran of the Leipzig techno scene, “Ditte”, made a name for himself not only in Germany. He was co-organizer of the legendary EASTSIDE parties (1993-2001) and ran the small, very fine club Molendyk from 2003 to 2006. In 2003 he deservedly won the MDR Sputnik Turntable Days DJ Contest ahead of 49 other DJs. He knows how to always incorporate that certain something into his sets like no other. The brilliant mixing and track selection shows that there are 30 years of experience behind the decks. He makes music with the heart for the hearts and souls, which he captures with his “age-appropriate techno”.
