MICHAEL DIETZE - DJ since 1991 (DJ Ditte)
Music with ♥ // Winner MDR Sputnik Turntable Days DJ Contest 2003. After a break of almost 7 years, Michael Dietze got back on the decks in the summer of 2016. While he was known to everyone in the 90s and the first half of the 2000s as "Ditte", who made a name for himself with minimal / techno sets not only in Germany, he acquired another style in the Crewe club Molen_Dyk (2003-2006) . He managed to inspire people with Deephouse and Melodic Deep Tech. He has perfected that to this day. Like hardly anyone else, he is able to always incorporate that certain something into his sets. You can tell from the brilliant mixing and track selection that there are almost 30 years of experience behind the decks. He makes music with his heart for the hearts and souls that he captures with “age-appropriate techno”. In 2003 he deservedly won the MDR Sputnik Turntable Days DJ Contest in front of 49 other DJs.

Als ich 1991 meine ersten Vinyl´s gekauft habe, wurde ich von den meisten noch ungläubig belächelt. 1992 stand ich das erste Mal an 2 Plattenspielern. Damals hatten wir ein altes DDR Mischpult, welches noch mit Batterien funktionierte. Wenn die alle waren, ging das Mischpult aus.  
Die BASIS Leipzig, Ravechannel auf DT64, XPLODE Records und die OPERA Leipzig haben mich Musikalisch geprägt und dazu beigetragen, dass ihr genau diesen Sound auch nach 30 Jahren immer noch genießen könnt. 
Ein ganz großes Dankeschön an alle freiwilligen Helfer, Wegbegleiter und Gäste der EASTSIDE Partys (Zweinaundorfer Straße & Gerichtsweg), der ehemaligen PROTEX-ZERO Crew (Spinnereistraße) und allen die mitgewirkt haben, dass das MOLEN_DYK (Leipzig Stötteritz), für über 2 Jahre zu unserem Wohnzimmer geworden ist. Eine unvergessene Zeit. Danke auch an den Musikladen Leipzig, Unknown Species, Philter Music, Deep House Moscow, Deep House Radio, Planet Ibiza, Beach Radio London und alle die regelmäßig meine Mixes hören.

We’ve got another mix for you snatched from the wild - this time from iconic brothers @ben-fester and @secondcousins. Recorded at our open-air party co-presented with @planettrip earlier this year, the siblings warmed up for maestro @floatingpoints in the breeze of twilight, where they proved themselves as well-seasoned DJ’s no longer necessitating introduction. 

Sink into this mix of trippy downtempo, percussive electro and cherished vocal house from two masters of their craft.

This mix was recorded on the stolen lands of the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation. We acknowledge their Elders past and present, and recognise efforts in the ongoing resistance against colonialism. Always Was, Always Will Be.

CHIDA自九十年初期成為東京地下House music界的先峰，除了DJ身份外，他也是一位德高重望的製作人，自2009年開始營運廠牌Ene Records。二十年的DJ的生涯，Chida既是面向世界，又是整個House和Techno新浪潮中的依然屹立不倒的人物。

 與Masters at Work、Strictly Rhythm和Nuyorican Soul等等傳奇音樂單位關係密切，多次同台演出，Chida都從中學習。在家鄉他以超過十二小時的馬拉松DJ set為人知悉。2009年開始營運個人廠牌Ene Records，為地下House music界注入新力量，分別有Prins Thomas、Eddie C、Man Power、Tiago、Lord of The Isles及日本本地音樂人如The Backwoods、Cos Mes和Sly Mongoose均在Ene Records旗下推出作品。

 他在ESP Institute千喚萬喚之下推出首張十二吋作品「Danca」後，他終於百忙之中製作更多個人作品，包括原創歌曲和不同的混音作品，都收歸於Ene Records旗下。

 在各DJ包括Eric “Dr Dunks” Duncan、The Idjut Boys、Lindstrom、Mak E、Justin Vandervolgan、 Andrew Weatherall、Soft Rocks、Discodromo等人都讚口不絕，Chida是名符其實DJ中的DJ。 在這個音樂製作地位高於DJ手藝的世代，單憑DJ身份就在國際舞台上大放異彩，Chida絕對是一個異數。

CHIDA has been a pioneer of the Tokyo underground house music scene from early 90s. Influential DJs playing around the world, he is also a very respected producer and run the label Ene Records since 2009. 
 
 Revered after more than 20 years as one of the most respected DJs in Tokyo, Chida is front and centre in the exciting new wave of House and Techno DJs who are now finding fame around the world.
 
 Learning his craft playing alongside legends like Masters at Work, and at Strictly Rhythm and Nuyorican Soul Label Parties, Chida is famed in his home country for his marathon sets which have been known to last well in excess of 12 hours.

 Since 2009 Chida has been running his label “Ene”, one of the most respected underground imprints amongst true house music aficionados, boasting a list of contributors including Prins Thomas, Eddie C, Man Power, Tiago, Lord of The Isles and homegrown Japanese talent such as The Backwoods, Cos Mes, and Sly Mongoose.
  
 Finally, after so much anticipation following his much sought after debut 12”, Danca, on ESP Institute, Chida is finally about to release more music, with originals and remixes due on both his own label, and several others in 2016.
 
 Respected and even, on occasion, name-dropped by such amazing DJs as Eric “Dr Dunks” Duncan, The Idjut Boys, Lindstrom, Mak E, Justin Vandervolgan, Andrew Weatherall , Soft Rocks, Discodromo and a whole load more, Chida is truly a DJ’s DJ.

 In this modern time where music production all too often takes precedence over true DJing craftsmanship, Chida remains that rarest of phenomena, a performer who has managed to carve out a global DJIng schedule purely from the merits of his sheer skill behind the decks.

Both of my parents were musicians in a band, so I got in contact with music very early. I started producing at age 16 and came to electronic music at 21- djing was not interesting for me back then. That just came after releasing on renomated labels.

"As we bid farewell to summer and enter the fall transition, I envisioned making it a little more pleasant for all of us and boost the energy around. The mix includes both fresh gems and timeless favorites of mine. Swirling around melodic techno with indie, groovy but dark, highly energetic punch.  
In fact, not only has weather changed, but so have many other things, including the tone and rhythm of the set. Perhaps one of you is more adaptable to change than the other. My thoughts are still somewhere in the summertime, but they have become more moody and melancholic recently. I hope you enjoy it and find something for yourself! cheers!"

Nach fast 7 Jahren Pause ist Micha 2017 wieder aktiv an die Decks gestiegen. In den 90ern hat das Urgestein der Leipziger Technoszene, als „Ditte“ nicht nur in Deutschland von sich reden gemacht. Er war Mitveranstalter der legendären EASTSIDE Partys (1993-2001) und leitete von 2003 bis 2006 den kleinen, sehr feinen Club Molendyk. Im Jahr 2003 gewann er völlig verdient den MDR Sputnik Turntable Days DJ Contest vor 49 weiteren DJ´s. Er beherrscht es wie kaum ein Zweiter, immer das gewisse Etwas in seine Sets einzubauen. Am brillanten Mixing und der Track-Auswahl erkennt man, dass da 30 Jahre Erfahrung hinter den Decks stehen.
