part 1: 
I produced this mega-mix earlier this year for the 20-years-celebration of German*s biggest music magazine INTRO, who started in 1992. It took me ages to produce, but I really enjoyed doing it, because it was like a musical journey through my life, too. The choice is a mix of songs in Intro*s "end of the year charts"-lists (that i was d*accord with), plus songs that I think were essential for me. there are all sorts of music styles (between independent and clup-pop) included, it starts slow and becomes more upbeat in the course of its 3 hours! I found this disco-track called INTRO-DISCO (a "stars on 45" kinda thing), which was perfect as an Intro and Outro. I had to split it in two halfs for technical reasons. Part 1 ends with the same song (Zoot Woman) that Part 2 starts with, so you can glue it together on your own, if you like! 

Together with a video this mix was played on all "20 years of Intro" parties and concerts as a kind of "support-mix" before the bands started playing.

I LOVE EVERY SINGLE SONG IN THIS MIX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Michael Ellis is a Portuguese producer and dj. He started his carrer as a dj in 2002 and until 2007 he had the opportunity to be resident at clubs such as Scotch Club and Via Club in Portugal and he became a regular presence in many Portuguese venues, having shown his project from North to South Portugal… Throught these years Michael Ellis played side to side with almost all top Portuguese djs, like dj Vibe, dj Jiggy, Carlos Fauvrelle, Frank Maurel, Miss Sheila and many others as well as some international talents like the Martinez Brothers, Perc, Hans Bouffmyhre, Olivier Giacamotto among others…

In 2010, Michael Ellis has played for the first time at 25th Winter Music Conference (WMC2010) held in Miami, USA and as started his producing carrer with his debut releases… His sets and tracks are very influenced by many top of class producers from genres like Minimal, Tech-House and Techno… Throught his energic and allways unique performances, Michael Ellis brings joy and excitment to every dancefloor where he performes…
