Sparrow & Barbossa have their highly anticipated album ready to sail the world oceans, 'Seven Seas' is finally here. One year locked down in the studio has opened their minds to travel to different cultures allowing them to create a unique and colorful debut album.

One of S&B's central values as DJs and producers is to transmit the roots of ancient cultures and democratize World Music through Electronica. 'Seven Seas' is the perfect example, music coming from the four cardinal points.

This album consists of 12 tracks crafted by the duo and many world-recognized talents. Bryan (Sparrow) was also able to involve his father, the world-famous guitar player Francis Coletta who performed with Frank Sinatra, Quincy Jones, and many more. The album contains so many elements that it can't be categorized into one specific genre but, its core is House music. 

The album starts with 'Quando Te Veo' along MoHorizons, The emblematic DJ duo from Germany. The all-timers Acid Jazz, Nu Jazz group appeared on Buddha Bar, St Germain, among others. 'E Fura' with Dele Sosimi, one of the Afrobeat ambassadors. 'Nyakua' signed by Kenyan favorite singer Idd Aziz co-produced along with DJ Chus, Iberican Sound mastermind, Stereo Productions founder, and Redolent head honcho. 'Azucar' brings the heat and the Latin rhythm to the album with this hot tribute to Los VanVan; the Cubans won a Latin Grammy. 'When I'm With You' in collaboration with one of nowadays Afro House star Floyd Lavine and performance by the New York singer Josh Milan. 'Libre' is the track made by one of the rising electronic producers from Morocco, Cee ElAssaad. 'Saudades Do Mar' along with by the polish singer Tosz, who recently released in Redolent.

The 'Seven Seas' Album is a milestone that will set a new course in their career. S&B will be traveling the world with their live performance and sharing the production process behind this magical album.

Hasta hoy, La Jara era una comarca natural española, que abarca territorios pertenecientes a las provincias de Toledo, Ciudad Real y Cáceres. Una comarca natural y un paisaje que es resignificado por Ruiseñora en el que es su nuevo ejercicio discográfico, a dos años del que fue su segundo álbum, tan solo unos meses del split compartido con Le Parody y tras varios meses presentando singles que iban articulando un código sonoro que encuentra el cénit (y lo que quede por venir) ahora en "La Jara".

En las seis canciones que el dúo canario-extremeño presenta ahora, se sigue recodificando la tradición de la Extremadura natal de la vocalista y poetisa Elia Maqueda, frontwoman de un proyecto en el que Atilio González Jiménez traduce versos extremeños (la gran mayoría de las veces en castellano, pero también en el dialecto castúo de la zona) tanto populares como del puño y letra de Elia; y conecta el espíritu de la copla, el folclore extremeño y la música tradicional del sur de la península ibérica, con un imaginario que bucea entre la electrónica más cósmica y una psicodelia de vocación popular.

Un álbum llamado a reivindicar la raíz de Extremadura, pero también de describir desde dentro las voces y tradiciones de la España vaciada: la de una Jara que de Villar del Pedroso o Carrascalejo hasta Peraleda de San Román y Talavera la Vieja, entre otras localidades que conforman La Jara cacereña; poniendo voz, historias y sonidos a una llanura pizarrosa protegida por la Sierra de Altamira, pero ahora también por el cancionero popular de unos Ruiseñora que saben encontrar futuro en los sonidos de tierra adentro.

We're thrilled to present Camel Riders' brand new release titled 'World Tour' by GidoR, incl. remixes by SEVN, Richard Elcox & Matija, Karmaâ.
The Tel Aviv-based producer Or Gido aka GidoR, is serving us in his debut EP on Camel Riders, three diverse & puumping originals: 'Lost In Time', 'Dreamly Djembe', and 'Superstition', which are accompanied by three splendid remixes. GidoR's originals manage to take the listeners into a deep trip around the world with a sophisticated and futuristic approach. Organic elements and sounds, alongside with a variety of instruments and ethnic voices collide with exquisite & powerful electronic beats. The opening track of the EP is 'Lost In Time', a mystic tale that holds within swirling Oud riffs, Didgeridoo-ish sounds and middle-eastern vocal fragments fused with exquisite electronic sounds. Coming up next is 'Dreamly Djembe', a fresh & pumping Afro House tune which exhibits organic elements & sounds, dreamy percussions accompanied by fantastic African vocal fragments, creating a peak time hours delight. The 3rd original is 'Superstition', which displays a powerful driving baseline, seasoned with trippy sounds and epic guitar riffs that frame the whole track and create glorious moments of suspense and a raw yet electrifying atmosphere. On Remix duty, 1st we have the pleasure to welcome the Montreal-based producer, SEVN to Camel Riders with his interpretation for 'Lost In Time'. In his remix, SEVN exhibits a darkish and extremely pleasurable baseline which is framed by wooden percussive sounds, mystic melodies and warm synth riffs, creating a powerful intoxicating voyage. Coming up next we are welcoming on our label the Swiss producer, Matija and the Berlin-based producer Richard Elcox which collaborated to create their version of 'Dreamly Djembe'. In their interpretation, Richard Elcox & Matija took the original to warmer grounds, with its dreamy and nomadic baseline accompanied by melancholic yet blissful synth and Sitar melodies, all spiced with cinematic arpeggio and metallic sounds. Last but not least we are thrilled to have Karmaâ in his debut in Camel Riders with his version of 'Superstition'. In his remix, the Toulouse-based producer is exhibiting a fresh, melodic and colourful interpretation with the use of sexy percussion sounds, dramatic melodic synth riffs, and touching Oud & flute riffs, while keeping the powerful swirling baseline of the original.

Following a widely acclaimed first release with DGTL Records, Satori (@satorimusica) returns to the Amsterdam-based label with brand new music. No stranger to the festival, the Nijmegen based producer also known as Djordje Petrovic has delivered his mind- altering sets to DGTL’s global editions since 2015. As the perfect follow-up to his 2018 EP ‘Yam’, his latest release consists of two melodic and spiritually infused tracks ‘Mori Shej’ and ‘African Bang’. The EP is set to release on February 26th 2021.

With an ear for incorporating global influences to his music, what sets Satori apart in the electronic music world is his effortless ability to merge seductive trance with transcendent dance and rhythm: creating melodies from the piano, kalimba, kora and guitar (to name a few). This unique manner of merging organic influences with dance and club music is something that is ever-present in his music, and even more so on his latest release.

The first track on the EP, ‘Mori Shej’ is a clear amalgamation of folk influences interwoven with electronic landscapes. It is inspired by Satori’s favourite Hungarian Roma song, having listened to it since the age of 15. The track came about through a detailed search on different versions of the song, where he stumbled upon one version from song collector and artist ‘Peia’. The impact of this particular version was so powerful, that Satori contacted Peia for a collaboration. The result of which quickly found its way into his live-set and the track was born.

Profound inspiration is something that is frequent in Satori’s productions, with his second track on the EP ‘African Bang’ following suit. The track is grounded in an energetic yet earthy interpretation of African soundscapes - with strong nuances of dance and movement. It was brought to life when Satori came across some rare African vocals while visiting record shops in London. They made such an impression, that he recorded them as samples. After some experimentation in the studio, he added a groove that came to serve as the pulse of the track. In Satori’s words ‘I feel this is a never-ending groove, and absolutely love it’.

The artwork for this release is a special one-off collaboration with Dutch photographer Bastiaan Woudt. Woudt and Satori have a long-lasting friendship formed over the love for each other’s work. The friendship is a big source of inspiration for both and their paths have crossed frequently over the years, making this collaboration a perfectly fitting one.
