Known for his diverse sounds of Afro House and Afro Tech, his music fills spaces with infectious vibrations and energies.
Being a native of Tema, Ghana his mission is to expose untapped African genres to the world by creating a music space undefined by anything existing.
Yaw’s music journey started in the early 90’s where his expertise of music production evolved when taking the lead in various production of mixtapes within his community. The music journey never stopped but took a pause during his college years where he took focus on his studies majoring in Electric Engineering.

DJ, producer, and label manager, @jameskameran is originally from the UK and currently living the island life on Ibiza. He has played at all of Ibiza’s leading venues, including residencies at Space and Privilege as well as playing at the iconic venues such as Pacha and Hi. He also plays regularly for Ibiza Global Radio, Ibiza Sonica and Pure Ibiza Radio. 

His sets feature different styles of house music, from downtempo through to deep melodic techno. 

In 2010 James launched Rogue Recordings, which received support from some of the planets finest DJs, including Marco Carola and Laurent Garnier. In 2020 Karma Vida Recs was launched, which showcases a more deep, nomadic style of Organic and Afro House. 
Along with this new label project, James’ new artistic alter ego was born, with name ‘Kamran’.

We are excited to present the opening set from this year’s edition of Front Republic: Em!

Em’s relation with music started at a very young age, when she could barely talk but could play the piano by ear. Later on she started learning music through singing and the violin, and discovered electronic music. Since then, Em’s ability to create musical journeys were made especially for her friends, to make them smile and travel throughout her sets in private parties and in events around Montréal.
