Mining deep from the nation’s rich underground and leftfield worlds of electronic music, hip-hop and all the exciting experimental pastures in between, Dave Columbo Jenkins joins disparate dancefloor dots as he shines the light on just how much unique, innovative and authentic music is coming out of Wales right now. 

Weaving between cult Celt classics and upfront unreleased exclusives, this show includes a crucial guestmix from Martyn Kinnear and two interview features about unique Welsh events happening this summer: Focus Wales and Love Trails.

Tassone has been spreading her love through music since mid 2018, meet Tassone, emerging Australian drum and bass powerhouse: producer, DJ, promoter and beyond.
Since bursting onto the scene in 2019, Tassone has captivated audiences in clubs and warehouses, doofs and street protests across Australia. She has headlined major events like DAYONE in Tokyo, Japan and Wreathfest in Alice Springs.

Her unique style seamlessly blends cinematic and jazzy melodies that will uplift your soul, with bass-heavy and percussive rhythms that will leave any junglist craving more.
Known for her versatility as a DJ, she likes to describe her sound as ‘Major Groove’, a soundtrack perfect for a bank heist or a cinematic roller coaster on the dancefloor. This includes many musical styles spanning from liquid jazz to jungle - and even the dark and heavy side of underground bass music when the moment calls for it.

Tassone's unique sound has landed her the opportunity to share the stage with some industry legends, including Dillinja, Camo & Krooked, Calyx & Teebee, Makoto, Serial Killaz, Ben Soundscape & Collette Warren, GLXY, Mollie Collins, Hedex and Soul:Motion. Tassone makes her UK debut this year with a string of shows across the country yet to be announced.
Tassone's musical prowess extends beyond her live performances with her debut EP 'First Light' on Soul Deep Recordings solidifying her place on the global liquid funk map. This year, she has multiple releases planned across different genres, including jungle, footwork, and beyond. Keep an eye out for ‘Stepping Stones’, out soon on Fantastic Voyage (LA).
