Enigma is an ambient music production Project based in Northamton. It's focus is that of the usage and re-interpretation of ambient music into other genres, and the study of ambient music as a whole. The results of Enigma's ambient sessions can be heard throughout the included musical samples. Feeback and critique is welcomed at all times. Enjoy.

For over 9 years of professional experience, Shakey has been demolishing dance floors in packed rooms across the UK, playing drum and bass in raves, bars and clubs. The key to his success has been his passion for combining jungle and drum and bass in a unique style, which first gripped him as a schoolboy growing up.

He developed his obsession that has expanded from playing warm up sets to now notably supporting huge names such as Frankee (Ram Roadmender), Hazard (Rebirth Kettering), Guv (Nu Era) and has supported Micky Finn, Grooverider, Brookes Brothers and many more.

He has recently been working on his music production and has successfully released on Multifunction and Hostile Bass with other labels now seeking his work, with future releases forthcoming on Mutated Resonance and Kevlar Beats for 2017.

With forthcoming gigs for industry giants Random Concept at Summer Gathering and more, Shakey Jake has guest mixes lined up on Kool London for Missrepresent due to his tight mixing and ability and tune selection. His skills are also cementing him as a resident on rotation for events in Northampton where he hails from. With an ever expanding list of achievements and a busy gig diary, he is a rising star in drum and bass with a growing list of support and an ever growing loyal fan base.

I create a mixture of music but my main focus is on hard rock. I released an EP named 'The Age of Rebirth' in March 2011 and am now working on two singles for release in September/October which will precede a new album in 2012.
