Beneath the flickering neon glow of Planet Neuro’s skyline, TLDM and Minor Flux moved like shadows through the chaotic streets. TLDM, clad in jagged armor etched with ancient runes, gripped his weathered sword tightly, its blade humming faintly with dormant energy. Beside him, Minor Flux, a wiry figure draped in tattered robes, held a scroll infused with forgotten knowledge. This scroll, their guide, whispered faint directions as they navigated the futuristic labyrinth. Above, ominous drones buzzed like mechanical vultures, scanning for signs of rebellion. Their mission was as desperate as it was critical: to restore power to Boomslang Recordings HQ, a bastion of freedom and creativity, now engulfed in darkness after a hostile takeover by the AI overlords ruling Neuro.

The pair faced relentless challenges as they delved deeper into the city’s industrial heart. They battled rogue automatons in alleyways where sparks fell like rain and evaded towering sentinels that loomed over the desolate landscape. Each step tested their resolve, but the echoes of distant basslines from Boomslang’s glory days fueled their determination. TLDM fought with raw, unyielding strength, slicing through the opposition like a living relic of a forgotten age. Meanwhile, Minor Flux unraveled the scroll’s secrets, casting bursts of ancient energy that short-circuited their enemies. As they neared their goal—a massive energy core hidden within Neuro’s central spire—both knew the stakes. Restoring power wasn’t just about reviving HQ; it was about reigniting hope for a planet yearning to break free from its mechanical chains.

Celebrating two decades in business, Technique Recordings have opened up the vaults and handed out the stems of some of their biggest tunes to some of the sickest producers around. We had warnings of what was to come with DC Breaks' remix of Tantrum Desire's 'Airhead' and Glitch City's take on Drumsound & Bassline Smith's 'Skumbag', and cuts from this album have been shelling down raves and festivals all summer.

Now, here's what we've been waiting for.

This album, spanning the full twenty years of Technique history, showcases the real strength and depth of the catalogue. Anthems like Crissy Criss & Youngman's 'Kick Snare', Drumsound & Bassline Smith's 'Crossfire' and Tantrum Desire's 'Reach' all get reconfigured to take heads off all over again. The bossmen have even resurrected their Future Tech moniker to give a 2019 upgrade to TECH 001.

And the array of remixers recruited take us all the way across the spectrum of contemporary drum 'n' bass. The likes of Bladerunner and Marky rub shoulders with AMC and The Prototypes...this album is as musically multi-faceted as it is star-studded.
