Madloch's 3rd Avenue imprint extends a warm welcome back to the esteemed Japanese producer OMB, who, alongside Haruo Chikada, introduces the project LUNASUN. Both gentlemen have been pivotal figures in the Japanese music scene for several decades. OMB's talent has been recognized and championed by legends like John Digweed, Hernan Cattaneo, and Anthony Pappa, leading him to release his early music on prestigious labels like Audiotherapy and 3Beat.

OMB made his debut on both Sound Avenue and 3rd Avenue a decade ago, contributing several remarkable releases. His production partner on this EP is none other than the venerable Japanese music legend, Haruo Chikada, whose illustrious career began over 50 years ago in 1970. Chikada also holds the esteemed position of professor at the Faculty of Popular Culture, Department of Music at Kyoto Seika University.

It is truly an honor for us to present these four exquisite tracks by LUNASUN on our 3rd Avenue label!

The seductive feeling permeates through this cut, with a foreboding atmosphere creeping as it progresses. Dj/Producer and co-founder of Laika Sounds, Nathan Clement has been taking his listeners on a unique sonic journey since the inception of his DJ career in 1999. Throughout the years, Nathan has shared the decks at warehouse parties, festivals, and club events with several industry giants including Atish, Brian Cid, Darin Epsilon, Dave Seaman, Davi, Mark Farina, Serge Devant, Soul Button, Tara Brooks, and Quivver. He has been featured on top internet radio sites and podcasts such as Global Transmission, Husa Sounds, 8day, Proton Radio, Diesel FM, Digitally Imported, and is the host of Synectics on Friskyradio. Nathan’s DJ sets capture his ‘beautifully dark’ signature sound while displaying versatility through the spectrum of house, techno, and even drum & bass.
