I woke up yesterday morning just fed up with my nihilistic attitude. I felt like I was sinking to depths.. mental uncharted territory that I feared I wouldn’t be able to get out of. I literally felt like I was drowning.  Usually when I get this way I shut down, absolving all responsibility for my state of being… chalking it up to the unrealistic exceptions people have of neurodivergent niggas existing within capitalism…. Of course it’s true.. but for me, not maintaining a locus of control, not allowing myself to see how I am the master of my own fate, depletes my will to live much much faster. The truth of my reality is that I’m the one that shapes it. So that morning I asked myself.. what tf was I gonna do today as step 1? How to move through the chronic fatigue I’ve developed over the years? How to rewire my brain to resist the coping mechanisms that allowed me to survive up to this point but absolutely do not serve me anymore? I haven’t figured out everything yet b/c I had this revelation yesterday lmao but as a symbol of new beginnings, I made this mix. Represents me beating depression’s ass by finding my strength in the sound (: Although I made it for me, I’m sharing it because I just feel like being vulnerable today clearly and it’s pretty good
