For the fourth installment of the Gabber Noir Archive, we are fortunate to be submerged in some of the most stomping kick drums and hardcore techno craftsmanship in the scene: Sacerdos Vigilia. This talented producer absolutely smashed the stage at one of the Gabber Noir parties at Void Berlin and continues to surprise and thrill us with his innovative tracks every time we hear his music.

The last few years have proved to be milestone years, with two very different full length albums being released on Meta4 and Traumatic, the latter featuring a string of collaborations with artists who have inspired, accompanied and supported him: Rude Awakening aka Promo, Ophidian, Armageddon Project, Demanufacturer and Cubic Nomad among others.

The Sacerdos Vigilia sound has a perfectionist edge and moves freely between the genre boundaries of industrial hardcore and techno, doom and darkcore.

This vinyl mix is dedicated to the explosive era of Acid House in the late 80's that captivated myself and many others. It was such a turning point for dance music and life in itself, when everything shifted and people from all walks of life came together all at once. It was also when I first started DJ'ing. In the beginning I was playing funk and soul. But a few months later, after my first acid house experience, my musical direction completely changed over night. I love acid house! :) X

This was one of my most popular mixtapes of the late 90's. This was a live recording at the onE Thank You party located at The Glasshouse in Pomona. I was the closing DJ for most of the OnE events and this was no different. I closed out the night with a mix of progressive house and trance and the crowd sang me happy birthday after my set. It was a amazing night. One that I can relive just listening to this mix. Hope you enjoy
