Outpost was conceived and produced in the far reaches of the world on the magic island of Koh Phangan in Thailand. The 1st and 3rd tracks which were completed in Paul Taylor's Island Studio are a collaboration between Paul Taylor and Jules Hamer (a.k.a. Aphid  Moon).  The 2nd and 4th tracks, although spawned in the same studio, were each worked into different tracks. 'Mutha Buffa' by Paul Taylor in Island Studio and 'Nutha Buffa' by Jules Hamer in Aphid Studios, London.  The overall theme of Outpost was directly inspired by the magical, psychedelic, beautifully wild surroundings of the Island.

Cosma is Avihen Livne, born 1979, from Kiryat Bialik near Haifa, Israel. Avihen started his musical way in the dark clubs of Haifa and the area, listening to new wave and more electronic stuff: Depech Mode, Sisters of Mercy, The Cure, Front 242 etc... "Then trance arrived" (95), he said, and put some consciousness between everybody's feet and brain. That affected him as well, and after years of parties he started to make music in 1998, as he has been into computers since he was very young, making music with the computer was natural to him.

He worked first with Benny Risher as Diablo. They released one Album in 1999 - 'Insufficient Memory'. In 2000 Avihen started to work under the name Cosma (suggested by DJ Jorg of SST). Avihen said a lot has changed since in the way he grasped music and in the making of it. Part of it was thanks to working together with other artists like Ido Ophir (Domestic) and Erez Aizen (Infected Mushroom) who helped him alot to develop and grow up. "It's very helpful to learn the way another mind operates and to see a different Wayof working ". He released quite a few tracks on compilations and in September 2001 Avihen released his debut solo album 'Simplicity'. This album was considered a milestone release in every aspect as Avihen found a new formula of Israeli trance that swept the world off its feet. He took the direction of trance into a broader perspective; "Simplicity" was characterized by a big clear quality sound cruising through a deeper vibe, taking in funky beat, progressive, electronics and ambience while sounding fresh all the way.

"If you were in the right mood, "Simplicity" could be a religious experience" (DJ magazine).

After the release of this album, Cosma became an established name and he performed live all around the globe. Avihen moved on to signing his new album, "Nonstop", to the Israeli label HOMmega. In this album he swept many influences which made 'Nonstop' a juicy and innovative journey into trance. Dark and pounding, not for lightweights, Cosma's music rocks your core without beating your brains out, all while keeping his famous trademark - his unique cosmic atmosphere.

Avihen was about to release his 2nd album, "Nonstop", on March 2003. Following the album's release, he was scheduled for a massive world tour and in order to prepare himself for this exciting stage of his musical career,he decided to take some time off in Goa, India. On February 10th, while driving back from Palulim beach to his hotel, he was involved in a motorcycle accident. He was hospitalized, but despite all medical efforts, he passed away.

He was a special person, a good friend and a talented musician who was loved by all. A person who had so much in him that he could give so much to others with his music that was played, heard and hailed worldwide.

His music is his legacy. Remember him forever!

Note was born in 1985 in a small town next to Bangkok Thailand. 
He is a professional musician from a very young age, starting his way as a drummer. 
He came across the PsyTrance scene in early 2000's and fell in love, his first PsyTrance Djset was in 2002 at Fullmoon Party Koh Phangan, and he started playing as a resident and guest Dj in all the major parties and festivals in Thailand (Resident Halfmoon Festival, Resident Fullmoon Party, Resident Blackmoon Culture, Green Spirit Festival 2004-2006, The Experience Festival and more…) 
Note started producing his own music in 2006, his tracks were release in several compilations and are currently available.
2008-2013 Note lived in Tel-Aviv, Israel, where he played in parties and festivals around the country (Moksha Indigo Festival, Comfort 13, Haoman Club, Klika of happiness and many more..) and continued working and release his own music.
2011 and 2012 he toured Europe and played at Cosmic Circus Switzerland, VuuV Festival 2012 Germany and others.
Currently Note is based back in the Magical Island Koh Phangan. he is singed with Magic Phangan Records and working on his full album that will coming out soon.
