San Francisco duo Triple Five Sol—the combined forces of producers/DJs Johnny Five and Vin Sol—make raw, unvarnished house music steeped in tradition but wired for the future. The pair first connected on a trip to New Orleans, where plans to collaborate took root. Back in SF, with a freshly outfitted home studio, they dove into live jam sessions that quickly solidified into a distinct sound: jacking, analog, and unapologetically raw. Their debut EP, 75 Racks on Dark Entries, is a five-track statement of intent.
