Our guest for this episode is El Train.

Brighton born Producer and DJ Luke Nyeke aka El. Train is known for his ability to blend together Hip-Hop, R&B and Electronic beats with a heavy nod to the US West Coast beats scene. One of the UK scene’s brightest emerging producers he is making serious waves on both sides of the Atlantic. In the last few years El Train has released music on labels such as Kitsune, Darker Than Wax and Jakarta Records. His self released debut album 'Puzzles' was released in June 2019.

She started off in her early years listening to funk, disco, soul and hiphop/r&b, which later on got followed by less commercial genres (such as bass, trap, dub, beats, and UK/Grime). Nowadays she has found her early love back, while also having found herself liking other genres such as futurebeats, baile funk etc. where multiple influences from different genres blend together. As she had many musical influences during her life, she focuses on everything which has inspired her in some way. Therefore her sets are always a diversity of blends, bpm's and genres.

Greetings Friends and welcome to episode #024 of Mercury Landing.

We have finally hit over 700 followers and we're really grateful for that. We realize you have so many other options so many other choices but it is really nice to see our community growing. Up next we have our next guest, which goes by the name of @verningitup. Verningitup is a selector and curator from South Africa. I discovered her through our lovely SoundCloud algorithms through a mix called "INDOMIE SO INTO YOU". Her style is described as a mix between R&B, Futurebeats and Bounce playing with sounds from the 90’s to early 2000’s before bringing it back to the present day. In her spare time, she enjoys digging for music which definitely translate in her mixes though her unique selection of music. Our guest for this episode is SuperCoolDes.

SuperCoolDes is co-founder of the New York based tastemaker label ALL2GTHR and self-proclaimed „Worst Bedroom DJ Ever“.  Based in Long Island, Des started ALL2GTHR with colleague and friend Ras Diggy. Their mission: Share a NY-specific perspective on music and culture with the world.  Initially, the project incorporated live events in NY. After COVID hit, the label began expanding and branching out globally into different formats.  Today, ALL2GTHR releases edits, remixes and original productions from up-and-coming DJs and producers from all around the world and is host to several radio shows.  Through these projects, the label brings together a diverse global soundscape - all connected by a common theme: It sounds like it could shape the taste of tomorrow.

Relatively new to DJing, Aaliana has already racked up an impressive resumé. Based in Bochum, Germany she started DJing in 2019. After playing a couple of gigs in Amsterdam and around Germany, COVID came along and hit the brakes. 
Not held back by this, she started churning out guest mixes on a monthly basis. In that time Aaliana connected with a lot of different creators, built her network and started shaping her unique sound. 
Her mixes display her talent for intuitive track selection and clean blends. Playing only what she loves, Aaliana does not restrict herself to a single genre. Rather, she picks up what sparks her passion. A passion for music that is strong - so strong that not even a pandemic can hold it back.

Born and raised in the city of London to 1st generation Caribbean mother, The Style Siblings are considered as one of the most stylish electronic music duo’s next to emerge from the UK scene. Since childhood the siblings were exposed to a wide variety of music genres which led the siblings to start making their first ever music production on a Sony Playstation at the age of 12-13.

The siblings began their careers as a stylist after studying fashion and textiles which then led them to become bloggers/Influencers whilst designing and styling for numerous brands, dressing artists and radio/TV personalities. The pair got back into music and went on to DJing at fashion week events and producing soundtracks for social media campaigns for brands such as Cat Footwear, Blok London and HighSnobiety.

The siblings quote themselves as specialising in - ‘music that makes you move.’ Their style is an electronic array of up-tempo beats with punchy bass, colourful notes & vibrant tones. Yielding musical influences from Acid House, Grime, Hip-Hop, Jungle, RnB and of course the Caribbean influence of Soca music. With a fusion blend of all these influences TSS have now created their own musical sound.
