Suduaya-"Progressive" Exclusive Live Set For Tree of Life Festival!

MCSL019 - Monaque - ID 2011 with remixes from Luis Junior and Marc Marzenit - Beatport Exclusive May 3rd

The nineteenth release on microCastle sees a very special remix package for Monaque's 'ID'. The Russian duo had an very strong year in 2010 with the huge success of their Dos3000 EP and also superb outings for Sudbeat and Renaissance. 'ID' was originally released on Kasey Taylor's excellent Vapour Recordings in October of 2009 and it was played for many months by: John Digweed, Sasha, Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Christian Smith and countless other top DJs and producers. It also appeared in the Faithless Essential Mix which aired during the last week of February of 2010. For the 2011 update two of electronic music's most cutting edge producers Marc Marzenit and Luis Junior have been called upon to remix the track.

Marc Marzenit is already a certified star in the electronic music underground with his now legendary live sets and his productions which could only be described as anabolic, epic progressive techno. Fresh off remixes for Max Cooper and Patch Park Marc has truly outdone himself on his ID remix. An engulfing big room sound with a cavernous bassline combined with a spine-tingling, metallic lead that stretches today's sonic boundaries to the absolute max. With support already in from Hernan Cattaneo, Sasha and Henry Saiz this promises to be another celebrated piece in Marc's famed discography.

Luis Junior was one of 2010s brightest stars in electronic music. He gained an immense following over the course of the year for his unique and fresh production style that combined melodies, modern day techno sensibilities and an uncanny knack for creating unrelenting, infectious grooves. “Colache” and 'BG' both for Bedrock and his remix of Cid Inc & Lank's Coronal Mass for microCastle were 3 of last year's biggest crossover tracks, all which earned support from John Digweed and Hernan Cattaneo. For his 'ID' remix Luis has come up with a subterranean groove which is both momentous and deeply hypnotic. The character-laden hats and swirling atmospherics make way for some extraordinary diatonic moments. Luis has somehow managed to reinvent himself yet again with another truly original and inspiring production.The melodic subtleties and underground techno vibe are the key here which Luis has nailed yet again.

Stereo Express didn’t take too long to return with another hit EP. The Shadoorack / Bootaleeza EP is a both digital and vinyl release. The original tracks are influenced by swing music from the 30’s. They make use of many instruments, catchy melodies and appealing vocals. The remixes add a valuable extra. Dan Caster doesn’t just offer another version of Shadoorack, but an almost new track in the typical Supdub sound. Arts & Leni bring a great interpretation of Bootaleeza with a strong melodic break.

LDB alias "Lutin Des Bois" is originally a drummer and a singer.
Highly interested in traditionnal music but also in the electronic field of musical experiment, he founds his own way producing and performing with his two electro-acoustic side-projects called Secret Vibes &amp; LDBsystem. He formed Secret Vibes in 1999 while LDBsytem borned in 2001 to fullfill the original "Tribal-vibe" of his first artistic effort. These two side-projects are an inventive mix between Psychedelic-electronics and Ethno-acoustic sounds and rythms.
Live performances are a collaboration between instrumental musicians &amp; electronics...
On stage, they are often joined by various visual artists like: Jugglers, Body painters, Vj's etc...
Lutin Des Bois is also a DJ, His mix-sets distills a very warm instrumental groove and are very appreciated by lovers of Ethnic-sounds, Indies and other groovy electronic-Dub.
