Manchester based songwriter, producer and musician Cariss Auburn bends genres with her experimental R&B-pop. 

Cariss’ introduction to the UK emerging artist scene saw her supported by PRS Foundation’s Women Make Music grant, her releases going on to capture the attention of COLORS, Clash, Billboard, NME, BBC6 Music, BBC Introducing Radio 1, and many more. 

With a melting pot of early influences including 80s funk, 90s RnB, and UK garage, Cariss' unique blend of experimental productions and glossy harmonies joyfully rejects the boundaries of genre.

Navigating personal themes of familial pressure, the pervasiveness of escapism & relationships, Cariss has an unflinching approach to lyricism and has brought this honesty to a multitude of stages - from her own debut London headline show at Notting Hill Arts Club to Kendall Calling.
