This is 'Enough', a poem I wrote the morning after the Derek Chauvin verdict. It's about the generational struggle for us to be seen and treated as human beings.

A Poignant, Intimate Ode to Longing: At a time when a trend-chasing industry is forever seeking the sound of the summer to replace last year’s already-dated sound, this group seek inspiration from classic country songwriting and chamber pop production aesthetics to create something classic and timeless that moves people for decades just as their beloved Beatles, Belle and Sebastian, and John Prine do. Written during a lonely winter while his girlfriend was living on the other side of the Atlantic, it emerged from a place of emotional yearning. "I wanted to capture that simple but profound longing - It’s not the deepest sorrow, but a quiet, bittersweet ache in the back of your mind."

I met my girlfriend yesterday,
I had known her for about 4 days,
We had an adventure 

We walked about the Greenwich streets,
And learned about the history,
In December 

We snuck into a little pub, 
with a fire that felt like a hug, 
And I remember

Days drifting away from here,
And I wouldn’t want it any other way,

We will go through certain changes,
But the Royal Naval College will stay the same 

We might come back in 10 years,
If I’m lucky you’ll let me have a beer,
And we will reminisce about the people we miss, 
And our first kiss by the statue of the general,
