::::Bio::::
Initial has been DJing and producing for nearly ten years now, three of those as a resident for club nights at the Rainbow Venues in Birmingham (UK). During this time he has experimented with most genres and honed in his sound to release deep house music with a minimal and dubby edge. Initial set up ‘Seedy Records’ in 2014 with fellow producer Mali, and has worked alongside Tom Shorterz, Marc Spence and Vodex, helping push the Birmingham sound from deep within the scene. In 2017, he set up his own label for more minimal house called ‘Blue Park Records’. This was a peak time for a new wave of deep tech, from labels such as Real Rhythm, Psicodelica and Whoyostro, all of whom Initial has worked with. In October 2017, he released on well established label ‘Little Helpers’, supplying their 298th release with 5 original tracks and 2 ambient versions, with the release reaching #6 in the beatport minimal release chart.
