On a beloved Saturday night, I was given the opportunity to spin at Spiffy Dapper's 4th installment of "The Deep End", alongside Dr Foo and AMAN. The idea was to sink the place into the depths of the Singapore River, and we had succeeded in doing so. I was given one chance to go dark and evil with a new genre of music in this installment and here it is! 

This set is the first timeslot from 10-11, in which Dr Foo took it to the next level with his arsenal of deep tunes. I hope you guys enjoy this! It was a very happy moment for all of us and thanks to those who came down to support! Looking forward to the next one!

Joshen LIVE @ Spiffy Dapper 010314, Singapore (Psy-Chill Mix)

This is what you get when you put a stressed up 19 year old boy (who is considerably high) behind the decks for the fifth installment of "The Deep End", inside a rundown bar at boat quay where no one gives a damn what you play or do.

After Aloysius' beautifully crafted warm-up and Dr. Foo's techno and coldharbour carnage, Joshen takes on the decks  for the last set of this event till the wee hours of the morning causing total and complete devastation to the already decayed and falling apart venue. He unleashes his new collection of dark, trippy and evil progressive psychedelic trance collection whilst slowly transitioning to more fast paced psy and tech-trance. 

The moment was great for all as everyone had their fair share of banging throughout the night, something that will remain etched in our minds for a long time to come. Thanks to all who came down to support and the crazy vibes that night!!! We really went deep and dark...

Uplifting Trance: Forever and Always B2B Joshen / Progressions @ Tuff Club

I'm here to gladly present to you all the set that i played in Avalon Singapore Mixing Lounge, event "Ommission pres. Majulah Trance" on 28/06/13. Although I only had the chance to play half my set timing, it was definitely a great experience amongst the company of Trance Republic and all my other friends who came specially to support me :) Following up from Ouzza, I tore my way through starting from 145bpm with headbanging techy and uplifting trance to blow the club and crowd out of the water. Enjoy it! :D

Pengsoo is a penguin character that appears on the YouTube channel Giant Peng TV, run by Educational Broadcasting System in South Korea. Google will provide more information on his origins. 

DJ Pengsoo is a 34 year old trance/house DJ from Singapore who believes that dancing is a good way to lose weight.
