- Backstory -
We get tonnes of great demos from new artists, so much so that we found it frustrating when we had to turn music down simply because it's unfeasible to release it all on vinyl.

So we've trawled our inbox from the last year and reached out to the artists that have caught our eye (or ears, should we say!). We picked the best of the bunch to be mastered by DJ Sappo to form the inaugural Streetlight compilation.

I do a little bit of everything. I once wrote, recorded and produced a nerd rap about Tetris. I beatboxed and sang in a collegiate a cappella group. I’ve mixed and mastered countless tracks for aspiring artists. I sometimes play Drum & Bass tunes at electronic music events around Grand Rapids. I also entertain at wedding receptions, and a variety of things in between. I've been designing sounds with my voice/mouth my entire life, with software since high school, and with analog synthesis since November 2020.
