Time for no. 18 in our Just For The Night series, selectors take you on their own journey through groove. Anything goes.

This week we're heading to Salvador with musician, DJ & producer Alexandre Processo aka Processman. His universal sound, traversing grooves from disco, funk, house and Brazilian music, caught our ears on the recent Adupé EP on @fileunderdisco, two original tracks with Cady on vocals and remixes by @Jkriv, @Joutro-Mundo and @Dicky-Trisco. Going back a bit further, we loved his track Do Beijo, a collab with @Yuksek, later featured on the French producer's album Nosso Ritmo. He's also got a recent release Baba Oni on label @Mareh Music & runs Bahia Boogie. Time to free the groove 🇧🇷

GUY SLEAZY BEATS @ MIDNIGHT CITY (DOK 19/07/15)

We were very lucky with 2020 Soundsystem: 10 years of touring the globe, playing fantastic gigs at clubs, parties and festivals and meeting and working with some wonderful people. This is a previously unreleased, promo only  'live album' that we recorded in the summer of 2012 in the middle of our last bout of touring. It had always frustrated me that we had never quite caught the real energy and sound of the band playing live on any of our releases, so when the opportunity arose to record a session in Loudhailer Studios here in Manchester, we jumped at it. We spent one day setting up and getting a 'sound' that we were comfortable with and had a play through, then recorded this the next day. It's basically a one take run through of our live set at that time which includes tunes that we wrote as a band and also originals and remixes that we had previously released under our solo project names. For me it's the most satisfying recording we ever made. Please enjoy and spread the LOVE! It goes out to everybody who supported us throughout and continues to support us in our other projects. It really does mean a lot.

...  This mix for Red Bull Radio includes two unmastered, unreleased tracks of hers, which will hopefully see a release later on this year.  About the mix she says:

	“I went classic with the tune selection.  I’ve been spending a lot of time with my record collection in the last 6 or so months..  I started DJing in the late 90s so have a lot of great records from a golden era of house music, and my taste (which constantly shifts) has really focused on late 90s house of late - as such there are four records from that era included in the mix, from Rob Mello, Charlie Brown, Stacy Kidd, and Moodymann. It was a real pleasure to put together, I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed mixing it. And thanks for all the good times Red Bull radio”.
