HAPPY ROAD 2 FESTIVAL SZN EVERYONE!

Feels good to be posting this up as I'm sure you all been craving a fresh Orchiid mix! Sorry for the delay, been having technical issues with my dj setup @ home. I haven't recorded a live mix from home in a long time because I took a break from mixes to focus on my own productions & to slowly make my Vancouver debut as well... little side story as to why I made the move out here - I made it a goal of mine back in 2015 (when I attended Contact Festival) to move to Vancouver in the next 5 years. 6 years later, I had an opportunity to come out here for work so I left Calgary and made the move.

As we're gearing up for festival season now that they're officially a go *finally*, I figured it was a perfect time to record a live mix from my home studio and send it out into the universe. The 2nd song in is an unreleased track of mine which will be coming out very soon so stay tuned for that! It's also fully mixed & mastered by me as well... I'm really proud of the work I've been doing as of lately and excited to keep this going. Music is my whole life, my true passion as a career and I've worked extremely hard over the years on the come up. I've got a couple of collaborations in the works and lots more on the way! 

As a female in the LGBTQIA2S+ community, I want to encourage other people across all under-represented categories in EDM to stand strong, be genuine, lift each other up and chase after your dreams. It hasn't been easy for me but it's definitely been quite the ride & worth every step I've taken. Let's get that 20% up to 23% on all lineups across the world by the end of 2023. Many of you may not know this but I recently started a side project alias called not,perfect for more Techno & Progressive styles (to dive deep back into my roots for fun to see what I could create production wise). I'll also be throwing my own events out on the West Coast soon under my Undrgrnd Rebirth brand (formerly known as YYC Underground House Movement).

Road 2 Festival SZN Mix 2022

The return of the dance floor. I was so fortunate to be able to close the show at the first post-covid Lighthouse event. Seeing everyone dance and smile until the lights came on gave me a certain feeling I won't soon forget. 

This set also has a guest spot 30mins in, none other than the Lighthouse captain himself, Troy Power. He spun a couple rave bangers and we were able to debut our first original single together, to a packed out dance floor. 

I hope you all enjoy this truly hectic, hilarious, weird and wonderful mix.
