Akshan Rai, better known as “AUXSHAN,” is a rising force in the electronic music scene, born and raised just outside of New York City. At just 23 years old, AUXSHAN has already racked up over 3 million streams on his tracks, earning recognition from industry heavyweights like Two Friends, Disco Lines, and Ship Wrek. His innovative edits earned him first place in Digital Music Pool’s Mashup Contest, and his sound — influenced by artists like Audien, Ship Wrek, Midnight Kids, and The Chainsmokers — blends high-energy production with a vibrant, genre-blurring direction that sets him apart.

From college campuses to coast-to-coast clubs, AUXSHAN’s early career has taken him to universities like Penn State, Ole Miss, Auburn, Boston University, Syracuse, where his dynamic sets light up the crowd. He’s played major venues across the U.S. and Canada, with his edits making it all the way to iconic stages like Red Rocks Amphitheatre and festivals like Stagecoach. AUXSHAN has also played support for artists like Nicky Romero, Acraze, Audien, Ship Wrek, NOTD & more.

Most recently, AUXSHAN completed a nationwide spring and summer tour with the country-EDM group Boots 'N Beats, performing in cities like Boston, Miami, Dallas, Los Angeles, New York City, and Las Vegas. His momentum has also taken him overseas, with an international show in Split, Croatia.
