Vienna-born and Berlin-based producer and DJ  @specific-objects has been around 
the scene for years. As vinyl lover and raver, he felt the urge to take part in this wholesome creative process and started his journey as producer and then DJ in 2015. After becoming resident DJ of the infamous Meat Market in Vienna and successful releases on labels like Suara, Diffuse Reality or Olympian, his inspiration took a turn to groove-based styles from the early 2000s. pushing his sound in a harder and faster direction, he soon founded his own imprint Twice Infinity that should conquer the scene with an oldschool-infused sound that resulted in various releases on labels like DREPT, Introspective, Scourge or Akronym, run by and for a new generation of international ravers.

In the past he also co-organized experimental techno music festivals and parties under the Revive brand (@revivewarsaw). With roots in metal and industrial music, his style can be described as a mix of harsh and repetitive sounds, noises and distortions blended with hypnotic and spatial tunes.

When Rotterdam based, UK born DJ/producer Birds (real name Katie Wilkinson) began putting together the tracks for her debut album, she realised that there was an ongoing theme to the vocal lines; they all were
related to either being at, leaving or returning to some form of ‘home’, most likely because she made the move from The UK to The Netherlands less than 6 months before and was still going through the traumatising visa process. This led her to think about the philosophical question of what exactly is home. The album explores
these themes.

“Home can be so many things....it can be a permanent, it can be temporary, it can be the feeling of surrendering to bad habits, it can be that familiar spot on a dance floor, your favourite seat in a bar, the people you surround yourself with, feeling a sense of freedom, your family base...the possibilities are endless. It’s a word that cannot really be defined.” - Birds

Genre wise, the album is a deep dive into Birds’ Bass, Breaks and Electro inspired influences with the occasional signature fuzzy guitar hook reminiscent of her earlier dark-wave material peppered in.
‘Final Destiny’ clocks in at 158 BPM, making it the fastest song on the record; it’s a track based on Amen Breaks/Drum n Bass but those distinctive dark textures remain in tact.
The whole record is a journey in itself, traversing bass driven genres across the way.

"Memories of Oblivion " weaves together three sonic pillars: Electro & Electropunk 🤖, Industrial Techno ⛓️, and Post-Punk Coldwave 🎤— a powerful 🔺TRINITY🔺 that, to me, evokes the deepest resonance and atmosphere. To me, these genres share common traits, particularly their emphasis on low-end frequencies and textured synths 🎚️🎛️🎚️, creating a soundscape that’s both RAW and IMMERSIVE.

Schranz assists here as well 😜, adding a even rawer edge to the mix.

I experimented with A WIDE BPM RANGE, blending tracks in unexpected ways, and I’m thrilled with the result 🤓 

The narrative behind this mix envisions a post-apocalyptic reflection of humanity 🌫️, viewed from the VAST SILENCE OF SPACE 🛰️ after NUCLEAR FALLOUT ☢️ —a scenario that haunts my mind.

At its core, this mix channels a personal belief in the urgent need to OVERTHROW THE OPPRESSIVE SYSTEM THAT BIND US 🔫💪🏼 As the vocal at 13:18 declares, “IT'S TIME TO START A REVOLUTION.” ✊🏼
Through this journey, I hope to immerse you in a soundscape of HOLLOWNESS, TRANSCENDENCE, and, ultimately, HOPE 🤲🏼

Because as the beautiful lines in the intro goes:

Psytox (aka Norman Bates, MDNT:SON, Didier Beydts, Svemirski, PSTX) has been dj'ing since 1989. Rather than being pigeonholed into one style of music, he mixes very eclectic sets, including elements of acid, house, techno, deephouse, minimal, breakz, d'n'b,... . It has brought him to a wide variety of venues in different scenes.
Together with Edward Molton he also founded his own imprints Coincidence and Coincidental Records, who have been releasing Techno from artists like Jeroen Search, 6SISS, Esther Duijn, Ruffneck Prime, Rebekah, Marcel Fengler, Developer, Delta Funktionen, Charlotte de Witte, Conforce, Mary Velo, Tom Hades, Layr and many more. He also produces and releases on Rhythm Converted and Be As One. He also promotes his own nights at Kompass Klub, Café d'Anvers and Tomorrowland's infamous "Rave Cave". So hard working is definitely a suitable description.

He has been known to play extensive sets (up to 15 hours straight) at established events such as Tomorrowland, Kozzmozz, Thé Dansant, Wanted Berlin, Extrema Outdoor, Lost Theory Festival,… and venues such as Kompass Klub, Now & Wow, Other Side, Zodiak, Tresor, Cafe d'Anvers, Fuse, Chalet, Charlatan, Decadance and Silo to name just a few.
