12 x 12 Set List

Much of this mix is from my set for Gregory's Jam, although I did alter it a little.

I was inspired by the word "retrouvaille", which means the joy of reuniting with someone after a long separation.

although this isnt the happiest mix, I wanted to created a story for you guys, a story of heartbreak and sadness, but heartbreak that isn't permanent. After break ups, there is a sense of nostalgia, then sadness, then anger, then understanding, then peace and happiness. I hope that those going through heartbreak know that it will be okay again, and you will find someone again.

To Gregory's family, I would like to thank you for creating this opportunity for artists to unite to celebrate Gregory's love for music.

Gregory Johnson was a student at SJSU, a passionate student and musician, and a loving son. His passing in the Sigma Chi fraternity in 2008, quickly ruled as a suicide, was later discovered to be a hate crime murder. The continuous discrimination and injustices faced by the Black community is a real issue that individuals face to this day. To this day, questions have not been answered, and justice is still being fought for by Gregory's family and friends.

this is an enhanced version of my 'the kawaii rave' liveset performed at the redlight lounge sacramento california in april 2024 

played a good mix of anime edits / kpop edits/remixes + a blend of some of my favorite tunes & some new ones

a ju1ced festival style mix as i play a little bit of everything, house, bass, dubstep even a smol bit hardstyle - i like to always start out with house and progress in bpm as the set goes along

paid tribute to the goat akira toriyama near the end of the mix RIP to the legend 🐐 🙏🏽

had a lot of fun playing this out live, the crowd and energy was phenomenal so wanted to put this out and hope u all enjoy!
