Soulful, sultry singing sensation Sade Serena is poised to take the pop world by storm. Birthed on September 27 to Jamaican immigrant parents, the Miami-born and bred starlet’s foray into music is inevitable, as she exhibits sheer unbridled talent framed with gorgeous looks, destined to make her a force to be reckoned with in pop music.
Sade Serena fatefully entered the rhythmic realm at the tender age of 12, recording a demo with a family friend named Rhovan, after receiving much encouragement to sing for years. "Lo Tienes (You Got What I Want)” was the name of the faithful track, and although the song was never officially released as a single, it granted Sade Serena invaluable recording experience, along with her first taste of lyrical liberation. “We performed that song for summertime jams and open-call talent shows, and received a lot of love from audiences,” reveals Sade Serena. “We were like the mini Ja Rule and Ashanti.”
By age 17, Sade Serena was earning her stripes as a background singer, performing in renowned Miami music venues like the House of Blues and the American Airlines Arena. “As my hunger grew for my own spotlight, I started singing lead vocals for local bands at lounges such as Mangos in South Beach, and even in hotel lobbies like The Ritz Carlton.”
Her musical styling is a fusion of Pop and R&B, and she is greatly influenced by her father, who was himself an aspiring artist, and mother, who Sade says never fails to let the world know her daughter is a star. Her other inspirations include musical luminaries Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson, Gwen Stefani, Beyonce and Lady Gaga, all of whom captured the ears of this auspicious artist and contribute to her melodious pop sound. “I want to be currently retro, in that, I like incorporating my love for old school music, which I grew up listening to, with music that I listen to today.”

My music has a big of a story to it and there is a reason why I am so determined. It was once taken away from me through something bad that happened when I was 13.  I started to DJ when I was 12 but due to pts from what happened it steered me down the wrong path and I made some stupid choices, & lost interest and was not able to continue. I always felt like something was missing from my life, after that Ii pulled myself together 5 years ago which was the hardest fight of my life, but now I'm sorted & making up for the time I lost & working as hard as I can to make my dream happen. Epic Micky has had radio play for 7 of his tracks with Mattrix Radio, aka Sono Radio who are a SirusXM Satellite Radio Station getting on average 80 plays a month, & he has had 2 plays on BBC introducing, plus air play on studiosound radio. He also collaborated with singers Mikey Zobel & Lily Zobel, being released in the summer of 2018 on Louis Capet XXVI. He has remixed a track for Simon Densely who also has reviewed him. Epic Micky currently has 21 licenses for his tracks, plus 2 more licensing deals with Omny Studios. He is on 2 Songtrader Compilations, and 6 tracks are on Matrixx Mixtapes on 5 different volumes. I am shortlisted for 13 other sync and licensing deals with various broadcast, media, commercial and film placements. I have just been entered into a jogtunes.com podcast and have just got an International In-Store / Overhead Radio Blanket License (2017) for 3 of my tracks. I am also collaborating with an artist who is a partner with Sony and an a&r for www.tidal.com. Epic Micky is BMI registered.
