A magical music festival produced by Cumberland Village Works, Mt. Eliah, and a dedicated community of music lovers. This cherished tradition in the heart of Vancouver Island in Comox Valley has stood the test of time, overcoming obstacles and growing into a staple boutique festival.

I am very new to clarinet -just a beginner- and an amateur musician. We made this recording just for fun. 
Nebil Emek is a professional guitar player and supporting me to play. 
This is a total experimental improvisation with Turkish melodies and clarinet taksims.

He was born in Baku, Azerbaijan in 1975. He started playing the kamancha at the age of 7 and eventually became the youngest soloist in Azerbaijan's National Music Instruments Orchestra.  
~Nermine Memmedova~ (Azerbaijani: Nərminə Məmmədova; 1932-27 March 1997) was a singer from Azerbaijan.

Re#Sister - real name Selen. Born in Izmir, Turkey. Self taught DJ career started when her best friend & auntie had CD player decks and a mixer set in the home they shared back in 1999. 

Mainly played at private parties, low pressure gigs in the early career preferring slow house. Since then always interested in the music of her geography and the rich music culture of ethnic and spiritual sounds. 

Re#Sister takes us on a multicultural journey through east ritual's sounds including rich Anatolian tunes, Organic - Melodic -  Ethnic - Deep House & Progressive Ethno Electronic from all around the world.
