Apaixonado pela musica eletrônica desde sua infância, começou sua carreira tocando em festas particulares e pequenos eventos. Em 2004 fez um curso de DJs na escola Art-Music (na época Vibe Djs) de Campinas, ministrado pelo Dj Thiago Siqueira e na época pelos DJs Rodolpho Pierri e Patty Marquez, onde desenvolveu ainda mais suas técnicas de mixagens e conhecimentos de equipamentos de som, daí em diante começou a trabalhar profissionalmente como DJ.
Após algum tempo de discotecagem Rick Souza começa a se interessar pela produção musical, sempre ouvindo muita musica e em contatos com vários produtores nacionais e internacionais, começa a produzir e seu primeiro Remix Axel F – Crazy Frog (Rick Souza Remix) é muito bem aceita e executada por Djs do Brasil e do Mundo chegando a tocar em vários programas como Hora da Pan (Jovem Pan). Uma das primeiras faixas produzidas Global Deejays – The Sound of Sanfranciso (Rick Souza Remix) também foi muito aceita e executada chegando a bater record em sites de musica na internet.
Rick Souza fecha parceria com a cantora Ryzian que empresta sua belíssima voz as suas produções tendo com ela varias musicas e remixes.
Em 2007 foi chamado para fazer parte de um programa de Radio chamado Balanight, programa da radio Nova Onda FM 99,3 que vai ao ar todas as sextas e sábados das 22:00 a 0:00 e pela internet no site www.balanight.com.br. O programa é inteiramente mixado rolando as novidades da cena eletrônica mundial aonde Rick Souza atua como DJ e Produtor.
Rick Souza já se apresentou em varias casas noturnas renomadas da região e varias festas e eventos ligados a cena eletrônica nacional e também eventos de produção musical.
