Linear Straight is not a newcomer to the music scene.
Becoming one of belgium's next export products. Pushing a typical dark, uplifting underground sound with unique soundscapes, he's progressively evolved into a club music all-round artist.
Producing, DJing, performing live with modulars and instruments by the companies he works for like Soma laboratory (Russia) Ableton and Roland.
He's has put out stunning records on the likes of Konsequent records, MBR limited, Coincidence, Rhythm convert(ed), Monotone:audio, Illogic and performed from Fuse, Kompass, Prisma to Griessmuehle to Extrema Outdoor, Voltage Festival, Materia, Cirque Magique and AFTRsun festival aside of names like Jeff Mills, Dave Clarke, Jeroen Search, PEARL falling ethics, DVS1, Anthony Rother, Black Asteroid, Brian Sanhaji, Rebekah and more.
After survived the 90's as one of the youngest DJ's from Belgium behind the decks at an impressive amount of clubs in the capital, he became since 2002 a decisive stronghold in the belgian Techno scene.
His time slot is always something to look forward to.
He’s also the man behind the well respected Radical G name, a prolific ghost rider under various moniker roles, partnered with The Horrorist and is regarded as one of the best remixers doing the job for names like Front 242, The Neon Judgement, A Split second and was one of the few Belgians who was remixed by artists like The Hacker, David Carretta & Workerpoor and Dave Clarke & Mr Jones as Unsubscribed...
In 2007,2009,2011 he toured around the world with this alias in South America and USA.
This huge experience in DJing and producing led in 2014 to Linear Straight, followed by the likes of Jeroen Search, Maral Salmassi and Abstract division.
Taking his career to the next level he recently released an EP on Konsequent records with remixes by Jeroen Search in awaiting of his first Full album on one of Berlin's finest imprints.
End 2018/ Begin 2019 will see further development of his alias releasing on well respected labels worldwide, solo and in collaboration with partners and friends with a similar sound.

Hailing from Belgium, Ben Solar is a driven, passionate and charismatic artist and DJ with a unique approach to his blend of techno music.

Boasting over 12 years of experience behind the decks, Ben started spinning records on wax back when he was 16, and he never stopped innovating his style and reaching out to the audience with his infectious set lists.

His music is all about connecting with listeners through high-energy, uplifting sequences, vocals, and great production values that rival the golden age of techno. In spite of a musical past that strayed far from electronica, it did not take long for Ben, born Benjamin Vanderzeypen, to get more and more interested in what happens behind the pure act of performing. When an artist becomes incredibly passionate about making music, diving into production is definitely the next logical step, because that's where the magic happens!

Ben began producing electronic music with a particular focus on minimal techno, and he started to unfold a whole new world of possibilities, as electronic music production is kind of like a huge, limitless canvas: the only boundary is one's creativity!

Formerly known as The Nutty Producer, Ben later moved from a dark, melodic and psychedelic blend of minimal to a more complex and layered approach to techno, which was becoming increasingly popular, particularly in central Europe - home to a fervent party scene!
As of 2014, Benjamin went by the moniker of Ben Solar, and he is still running strong, spinning for huge crowds, collaborating with great artists and pushing the envelops in every production!
