After a short while away from the release schedule, and completing our first international label tour, Domino Effect Records are back with an epic saga of House music, the 'Black Series' will take us up until Winter 2015. First of which is a fantastic debut release from DJOKO..

This captivating, Cologne based artist delivers a hard-hitting blend of well engineered grooves and bass through two fantastic and ultimately energetic original productions, 'Certified Feelin' & 'I Never'. The first is a pacey bass-house stomper and the second, a beautifully arranged organ groove, and both are very essential tracks for a DJ's wallet.

On the remix package we have the defiant Fabio Lendrum, our notorious Ozzi, new kid on the Domino block Ben Bodle & future talent Karl Lewis-Lynch. Fabio's remix of 'Certified Feelin' is a fresh and wonderful take on the original, providing an epic winding synth hook and all the perks that come with a 'Fab' production, Ben's remix of 'I Never' takes us on a rolling Housed up vibe with awesome percussion and infectious rhythm. Karl Lewis-Lynch finalises the EP with an 8 min funk-fuelled roller.

Duo Amine Edge & DANCE impress with two tracks demonstrating their finely-tuned low-end house sound. Hailing from Southern France, Amine Edge & DANCE have built their own musical empire, namely a burgeoning label called CUFF. In their productions they draw inspiration from early House, Phili Soul, Hip-Hop and everything in between. ‘Good Time EP’ does what it says on the tin, but represents the beginnings of a new direction and a stylistic departure from their signature G-House sound. The lead track shows their versatility with a straight-up 4/4 beat along with chop ‘n change vocals whereas ‘F.U.N.K.’ is a more industrial tech-inspired offering, putting a very modern twist on the funk.

Having worked on a staggering variety of projects since 1995, Rob Browne has demonstrated his talent on countless occasions both on the decks and as a promoter.
  
  In 1995, Rob began arranging private parties and student events. In recognition of his obvious potential talent, offers soon flooded in resulting in work as diverse as with the System X sound system in London and Cambridge and The Calico Bar in the Skiing resort of Corcheval, France. His travels were, however, far from over and he has since played in an enormous variety of venues across four countries including Australia where he performed at the lush Greenwood Plaza, Sydney. He then returned to residencies on his former home turf of Cornwall where he also surfed the airwaves on the county's only commercial station Pirate FM, contributing exclusive mixes for the weekend dance show. Over the last 2 years, he has also contributed guest mixes for the 'Disfunc' show on Newquay's Malibu Surf 105.FM RSL Station along with the Ministry of Sounds Digital station. 
  
  As a promoter, Rob has organised (and played at) a vast number of events including boat parties and residencies with his own organisations 'Moving Species' co-created with Tim Cambell and 'Nimble Fingers' co-created with Davyd Farrell + Emma Fitchet. Together with System X and London's Exodus Sound System in venues as unique as the Ipswich Abbey and Mansion Houses.
  
  In the UK, Rob's primary residencies have included:
  
  Shirehouse - St Ives (1996)
  Q Club - Cambridge (1997-1998)
  Isobar - St Ives (2000 - 2001)
  Bosun's Club - Penzance (2001)
  Ministry Of Sound - London (2001- 2003)
  Milk Bar - New York (2005 - 2006)
  SoHo Grand - New York (2005 - 2006)
  Chateaux Montbazillac - Bergerac (2008)
  
  And is currentaly playing at the Five & Lime (2009)
  
  In 2001, Rob started his residency DJing for Ministry of Sound, covering main club nights and corporate events alongside well known faces such as Brandon Block and K Klass for a wide variety of firms including Wella, The Millenium Dome Christmas Party, Reebok and Crystal Holidays. Rob's previous experience on local radio culminated in an exclusive mix on Ministry of Sound FM Digital.
  
  Presently, Rob has achieved his goal setting up a limited company - with the day job sorted, Rob's love for DJing has never diminished and you’ll always find him behind his 1210's doing what he loves best.
