Das Jahr neigt sich langsam dem Ende zu. Bevor wir uns aber dem wohlverdienten Familienfest hingeben, gibt es noch den 4. Teil unserer Episoden-Geschichte von Simon Rucker. Das erste Hochgefühl unseres Protagonisten scheint allmählich zu verblassen und die Einsamkeit schleicht sich langsam in seine Seele. Die Insel offenbart still ihre Schattenseiten. Ein Gefühlschaos breitet sich aus und die Stimme in seinem Kopf schweigt immer seltener: „ or have i wasted endless time“. 
Einfühlsam beschreibt nicht nur Simon, unser Gastpoet, sondern auch Andi, unser Gastkomponist, die innere Zerrissenheit und die geistige Verzweiflung der Hauptfigur. Diese deep story geht tief unter die Haut!  

Doch mein Hochgefühl verschwand so rasch wie es gekommen war. Bald spürte ich die Schwere meines Daseins mit unbarmherziger Eindeutigkeit. Wenn ich morgens erwachte und die Sonne schon erbarmungslos vom Himmel herabbrannte, war es ein guter Tag. Dann stand ich auf, verrichtete meine Arbeiten und der einzige Kampf, den ich zu bestreiten hatte, war der Kampf gegen meinen hämmernden Schädel. Schlechte Tage waren es, wenn ich nicht genug getrunken hatte. Wenn ich tief in der Nacht erwachte. Lange, bevor der Morgen graute. Die Sterne hingen höhnisch über mir in der Schwärze. Zur Erinnerung an Maria, an Zweisamkeit und mein früheres Leben, an Gesellschaft und Wärme. Die Sterne erinnerten mich an die Dreidimensionalität und die Weite der Welt. Daran, dass anderswo ein Leben stattfand, von dem ich kein Teil mehr war. Die Hoffnung und die Zuversicht der tropischen Tage waren dann zusammen mit der Sonne auf der anderen Seite des Planeten, viel zu weit weg, um von mir erreicht zu werden. Viel zu weit weg. Ich fuhr aus quälenden Träumen von sanften Wiesen und wehenden Kleidern hoch, schweißgebadet und mit rasendem Herzen. Einen kurzen Moment lang hielt ich das Erlebte für real. Was den darauffolgenden Moment noch fürchterlicher machte. Fand erst wieder Ruhe, wenn die Vögel zu singen begannen und die Hitze mir die Gedanken wegbrutzelte. Und auch dann blieb das fahle Gefühl der nächtlichen Verzweiflung irgendwo tief in mir hängen. 

Nächte dieser Art wurden häufiger. Ich fand mich immer öfter um meinen Schlaf beraubt. Sollte es nicht eigentlich anders herum sein? Sollte ich nicht eigentlich zunehmend gleichgültiger werden gegenüber meinen Verlusten? Meine Zeit hier hatte doch so gut begonnen. Mir fiel wieder ein, dass mich manchmal das Gefühl beschlichen hatte, hier nicht alleine zu sein. Was für ein absonderlicher Gedanke auf einer unbewohnten Insel inmitten der Unendlichkeit des Ozeans. War ein solches Empfinden nicht purer Ausdruck meiner Verzweiflung? Wir alle fangen als Unwissende an. 

Es muss jedenfalls in dieser Zeit liegen, dass ich die ersten eigenartigen Beobachtungen auf meiner Insel machte. Denn irgendwann beschloss ich, mich nicht mehr gemartert in meiner Hütte hin und herzuwerfen, wenn mich die Einsamkeit nicht mehr schlafen ließ. Stattdessen stand ich auf und wanderte am Strand entlang. Und sofern das Mondlicht es erlaubte auch in den Wäldern. Die auf solche Nächte folgenden Tage waren dadurch nicht mehr ganz so unerträglich, der Schatten der Dunkelheit ein wenig bleicher.

In the early 90's Robin buys one of the first Dutch cd dance compilations Serious Beats & Turn up the bas. After visiting clubs like IT, Roxy and Nighttown Robin buys his first wheels of steel at the age of 20. A new passion was born. 

In the last 30 years evolution of dance Robin-G'style is based upon several House styles. Another deeper sound - George Robin- is based upon techno/progressive deeper styles.
