Al Tarf

Felix E and Michael Ritter combine their skills on a standout new EP for INDISKRET BERLIN Records with remixes from Pajuh, Esin and Biesmans.

Ritter is a key player in Germany’s melodic techno scene who combines intricate rhythms with emotive melodies for a sound that’s both deep and dancefloor-ready, and Felix E drops high-energy and sleek productions blending groove, grit and forward-thinking sounds.

Tension is a perfect mood builder with atmospheric pads and wavy beats sweeping you up and encouraging you to get lost in the cosmic melodies. Release is a dubby cut with a moody lead synth that keeps you locked in for the ride as the bass wanders on. Revolte then shuts down with more driving drums and nimbler energy as more widescreen pads bring the soul up top.

First to remix is Pajuh who flips Tension into a deep cut with fizzing, pixelated chords spraying across the mix to dramatic effect. Esin then keeps things lush and dreamy with a zoned out and deep roller of a remix of Release, and then Revolte gets an upbeat and pumping house rework from Biesmans who brings bright pads and thumping kicks.

These are three sophisticated new sounds from Felix E & Michael Ritter.

Most of the music I play is re-edited by own fair hands - adding self made hooks, baselines, percussion grooves and FX. I constantly extended loops, long multi track overlays, change and pair harmonic keys, do tons of creative cuts and in many occasions retransform the entire format of a track. Been championing re-editng for many years! I do this to be constant in delivering solid and flawless musical journeys, plus my sets will sound unique thanks to the exclusive edits I do. For this performance I wanted to push my workflow and do more... I left no stone unturned! EVERY track in this session has been manipulated to make this experience ultra personal & special!

Late in January 2021, with most of the world's dance music scene still on a standstill, I was lucky enough to travel and perform in one of the very few countries where parties are actually happening! It has been 5 months since my last gig at a real public event, so this was a huge blessing for me. 

My debut in Egpyt, at Loxodonta Africana, an intimate festival held at a beach club resort in Nuweiba, which was exclusive for 300 party-goers that took on the whole resort for 3 days of partying.
