An all-vinyl tribute + some poetry paying hommage to the people & music who redefined my life's purpose this summer in NY. Records either gifted from friends or dug up with friends across NYC bins.

Against all odds, this summer I felt happiness I haven't known since I was a child. I released long-held traumas and found a new peace of acceptance with who I am and how I want to spend my time on Earth.

Most of all, I want to give music the role that I’d longed to give it. I’ve seen how it's been the vehicle to build the kinds of relationships I’ve always wanted and the community I could’ve only dreamed of. Put simply, I finally found the thing I’ve been searching my whole life to find as I dug through the giant record bin that is NYC.

This world may be a hell but my community can be a paradise.

In this place of precious meaning and self-realization, I turned yet again to the music to attempt to articulate and archive all of the beautiful moments, feelings, and people that made this summer what it was.

Inspires by two Jacob Riis beach days with my beloved friends where we went straight from the sea to the radio booth, "A SEED AWAKENS"
